Make sure you have some means to secure the Dolly. It moves around in the vehicle making a lot of noise. Otherwise, the experience was excellent.

I set this up online-when I arrived was scheduled to pick up at another location.Levi very graciously fixed this for me as I had flown in from out of town and had no other vehicle.When I got to my storage space i discovered the dolly I had paid to rent wasn't in my truck.I called my pickup location and when Levi called back he said I could get a refund when I returned the truck in Valley village.Not true.You STILL OWE ME $10.Mike in Valley Village was disgruntled that his inventory was affected by this error,but did make a phone call to try and fix this.After several minutes of small talk with the person on the other end he finally got around to addressing the issue.I was told that Tina would be refunding my bank account for the $10 that day.That was 3 days ago.You have now lost me forever as a customer...

Three times they had to confirm my on line reservation. This location said I may have to go all the way to Fremont to get a truck. My wife went there in person to make sure they had the reservation and they called my house later to confirm and had the pickup time at noon(wrong). Hell, I was going one way and had to be finished by 2:00PM so I needed the truck at business opening time. Moving is very stressful so they need to have what you want at the time you want it, especially if you reserve online way in advance!

Excellent location, knowledgeable staff, Very clean inside and outside. staff hooked up trailer and double checked walk around damage. on return, yard staff came right over to help and presented themselves well.I needed to purchase boxes and the staff knew the products,(great job!!!). Great experience overall.

However the curtner location was the worst experience ever. i went in 2 weeks prior in person and made a reservation to pick up a trailer. i called a week before my reservation to make sure i would have a trailer. they said no problem. then they called back and said they wouldn't have one someone else had reserved it (why did my reservation go through in the first place). then they said they would transfer one for me to the curtner location. i get there and they said we dont have one. i said why not? i made a reservation. the stupid manager had no customer service skills and was the rudest guy i have ever met! i was obviously upset because they didnt have my trailer and i was on an extremely tight time crunch. he just looked at me and said in a very condecending way " we dont just build trailers so YOU can have on!" are u kinding me????!!!!! i wanted to jump over the counter the knock him out! i said well what is the point of my reservation??!! Again in his very condecending tone he said" we just make sure you have a trailer at "A" location not always at the one you reserved it at!" again....ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! then he just walked away! the pour guy at the computer said i will have to go to the other location to pick it up. i felt bad because i was upset at him to but he wasnt the problem. so i got the trailer at the alameda location and after all was said and done i made my appointment with a min. to spare but the whole time i was extremely stressed the whole time. i had planned everything so i would be 15 min early so if i hadnt of done that i would have been screwed. the guys at the alameda location were great.the manager at the curtner location is the most incompetent person ever when it comes to customer service and is unfit to continue in his position. i will never ever rent from this location again! i hope this review gets back to him and i hope he remembers me!

As always, efficient, clean, very professional, and pleasant. Thanks again! I have rented vehicles at this location three times in the past three months and my experience has been consistently excellent all around!

The customer service was excellent (credit to Levi and Dede!) However, the trailer I rented had a side-step that was nearly completely detached. This is very unusual, in my experience, as Uhaul's equipment is usually in top notch shape. As far as improving it for the next customer: weld the fender up, straighten the latch tabs on the tailgate, and call that good enough. I will treat this as an apparition, and I will be back to rent again.

I've always had great experiences at this location... staff are respectful and efficient... vehicles are in good repair. I like the new check in process that includes checking lights, etc.

The customer service at the Alameda location was Excellant. Tara was the girl that helped us, and she was just Fantastic. I will definetley recommend The Alameda location,to all my friends,for all their, all Uhaul needs.
