The representative was rude to the driver/mover I had to come pick up the truck and I was told that a utility dolly would be available when I ordered the truck but when I got there it was not.

I am not sure why but the money for the UHAUL kept being debited out & put back into my account & in the end, my account was overdrafted, the guy from the company told me he would be in contact with me the next day & he was not. I was extremely unsatisfied.

Better service there. There was a couple before me who were renting a truck, the guy went with them showed the truck, gas and mileage, as it should have been with us...he was friendly.

Extremely busy. Parking is across the street. My mother (who was the one renting the truck) has an injured back and has difficulty walking, so this was an issue for us. We also bought 2 boxes of bubble wrap which was not put in truck, so we had to return for it.

We were verbally told to leave the truck with 3/4 full gas tank. It was repeated several times. When we returned the truck the owner/manager said that "That happens sometimes." and that The only thing that I could do would be to siphon out the gas!" I spent an extra $85. on gas. That doubled my bill. Obviously I will never use U-Haul again, and I will be sure to tall this experience to others. It was a scam. The manager/owner was not surprised in the least.

Make sure a truck with 103721 miles can give a smoother ride for 888 miles! So noisy I couldn't play the radio. Dash rattled to whole way. Like riding a bronco when going over bridges. Don't remember my other truck getting 6.6 MPG. Maybe I should try Penske next time.

The Cargo van that I reserved wasn't returned from the previous customer by my designated pick up time, so I had to get a small truck instead. This is no reflection on the management at this facility, they went above and beyond to make good on this mishap. However, customers need to be more considerate of their rental agreements and return the trucks/vans promptly when their time is up. Because when they don't this causes inconveniences for the customers that have the next reservation.

Someone made an "honest mistake" (as the owner put it) that cost me $100.00. I was asked for a deposit to rent a cargo van which two attendants dealing with me admit that they took. Then I was asked for a debit card or credit card to complete the application. I said that I had a debit card but there was nothing on it because I hadn't gone to the bank yet and I was thinking that the deposit was for that. I was told that they needed one anyway just for procedure and so the application would go through and that it didn't matter if nothing was on it. Like I thought, it was declined so I had to go to the bank to put the estimated fee in. I told the clerk to keep my deposit till I got back because I wanted to make sure I had a van on reserve. He insisted on giving me my deposit back to me, assured me the van would be held and that we would just go through the process again when I got back. So I got back and rented it under the same conditions and procedures. But at the end of the day, the owner would not give me my deposit back because the clerks had not given me a receipt for it. I didn't know that I needed one beyond the contract. Then the owner started telling me a bunch of things that were not consistent. First that they don't even take deposits for cargo vans. Then when he got in touch with the clerks and they said that they did he told me that it was an honest mistake and that they said that they caught it and gave me it back. I told him that they did give it back to me the first time as I had told him before (and only because I had to go to the bank and start over. Not because they had realized some mistake) but not the second time that we did the transaction. So, why am I the one to have to proves something when he has already admitted to mistakes and inconsistencies

Everything was good about the truck and equipment, the only problem was it took a long time to be able to leave about 2 hours. The employee was the only one working and it took a long time because there was a lot of customers and he had a hard time doing everything by his self. Although he was nice and and did his best but he just needed some help.
