when I droped off the truck the guy dident inspect the truck ,cked the gas gage or how clean or write dowen the milage in front of me ,he said all he needed was the key

The guy named Jose working at Santa Rosa u haul location was really mean . He does not even know how to make a conversation with client he was really rude .I would never go or refer any friend.worst experience ever.that guy really needs to have some more training in customer service

guy was late for my apt. as well as the person in front of me. I got a tow dolly. A half mile down the the road on the freeway I was notified the tail light was hanging. It fell off before I could safely pull over. Called 800 #. I went back the the store (across other side of town) The new one they were hooking up had the tail light BARELY hanging in its place. So I could not take one of the 2 they had.......... I was canceling my order but because I had committed to moving this car I was forced to go ahead and drive all the way in opposite direction to another city to get a viable rental. If not for time restraints and the commitments I had in place, I would have canceled at that moment and gone elsewhere another time.

Returning the Van was a terrible experience. Kings Tire opened 40 minutes late causing us to be late for work, the operator was rude and told a fellow U haul location worker who was waiting for switch out off and cursed her out in front of us. We will never use U Haul again and will will do our best to discourage any and all of our 290 tenant at our property do use Budget only when they move in or out. I really do not think this review will be read or paid attention to in anyway. However, I will do my best to see that U haul will lose money by my word of mouth.

The 10 foot trucks DO NOT have ramps and ALL of your trucks should have ramps!!! The extra work that I had to do because there was NO RAMP was hard. And took a lot more time as well. The issue of hurting your back or just getting hurt yourself increases as well. The person helping me could have been more friendly :(

Agent wasn't very customer service oriented. Was slow to get to the counter, mumbled with questions... and then we experienced an extremely bumpy ride leaving the parking lot. We called to report it (I've driven many uHauls and they're always very smooth to drive--this one was not). His response was a very curt "I just drove it - the van is fine." It didn't break down on us, but seems it could have used a tune-up.

I really have nothing to say either way about my pick up & drop off points. I would like to commend a wonderful team at the Uhaul FORT BRAGG CA location - I think called RENT ALL. I had a warning light come on. From the wonderful woman at the front desk to the guys in "da yard". they could not have been more kind or courteous! many thank yous to them!

I reserved with one dozen blankets through U-Haul website but this location just said they don't have blankets during the pickup of truck. They should have notified me beforehand that they can not provide the blankets.

Our only negative factor in our rental experience was filling up the gas tank to return the truck. The gas gauge was faulty. When we started filling, it registered up to a quarter of a tank and got stuck. We kept putting gas in, but it didn't move. My husband jumped up and down on the running board. When he turned on the truck, it was still at a quarter of a tank. He started putting in gas and in a few seconds it went from a quarter to a full tank. We were only to fill it to a half tank. We spent $40 extra on gas. Fortunately, the service rep at UHaul gave us a $20 discount on the cost of the truck to help us garner back half of what we spent. However, we still ended up $20 out because of the malfunctioning guage.

I have rented from uhaul many times however this time was an all time low. When I arrived at 8:00 am at Kings Tire the owner was leaving and locking the door. He seemed surprised that I was there however I had a reservation. I asked for estimate of final cost and an explanation of the terms and he said because I had made the reservation online he couldnt do that for me. He had only one pick up on his lot and the bed was full of trash and the cab was filthy. He wisk broomed the interior (no vacuum) and bagged the trash. I tried to start the truck and the battery was dead. He jumped started the truck. Obviously the truck had just come in and hadn't been serviced. I drove the truck to fill up with gas and made sure to keep the engine running to charge the battery. I then drove to my office and turned the engine off and tried to re start. Battery was completely dead. I called kings tire and instead of helping me (I was less than 5 miles away) the owner said it was out of his hands and I needed to call roadside assistance, which I did. I described the problem and they said the battery would be switched out and sent out a tow truck. 45 minutes later the tow truck came and jump started the truck but said they didnt change out batteries. Because I couldn't leave it running in the parking lot, I had to turn off and again it wouldn't start. The tow truck left saying they couldn't help. I again called roadside assistance and again explained the situation and got Ariel, who was very helpful, to send some one to change the battery, 90 minutes later. This all occurred because of kings tires' incompetence. I will use uhaul in the future but would suggest uhaul consider terminating their relationship with kings tires. Kings incompetence reflects poorly on uhaul.
