I have had bad experiences at other U-Haul locations but not this one. They were very helpful and friendly. They even said I didn't have to fill the truck up with gas which saved me like 50 bucks at least. And they said not to worry about cleaning the truck. Iv been charge before for not cleaning it out perfectly so that was nice. And it's next to organican!!

I was over charged for millage I calculated my route and miles and was almost charged for double my real usage not only that I the truck with u haul saying it had a full tank but sure enough it didn't good thing I took it right back and had them correct the receipt. .if only I knew the did accurately check any of the instrauments they charge you for I would of had them write down the actual millage. with this kind of service I cant trust them with my cedit card or bank info...straight scam!

Better customer service in the yard. I had to hook the trailer up myself, then wait around for the U-Haul person to sign off on the paperwork. When I returned the trailer, I sat at the "Wait Here" sign for 5 minutes before deciding I would just unhook the trailer myself. As soon as I started to drive to the back of the yard to unhook, a man came running out, waving his arms and yelling at me. Because I made him look bad, he treated me gruffly in signing off the contract.

TRUCK INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR NOT CLEAN; TRAILER NOT READY FOR RENTAL DUE TO MECHANICAL ISSUES, HAD TO WAIT FOR A DIFFERENT TRAILER.
WHY ARE TRUCKS RENTED WITH LESS THAN A FULL TANK OF FUEL, YET THE RENTER IS CHARGED FOR REPLACING FUEL UP TO LEVEL AT TIME OF RENTAL? IF RENTER IS CHARGED FOR FUEL, SHOULDN'T THAT FEE BE USED TO FUEL THE TRUCK? I CAN'T HELP BUT FEEL THAT THE FOLKS AT THE SANTA ROSA LOCATION ARE CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR A SERVICE THAT IS NOT BEING DONE - WHY ELSE WOULD I BE GIVEN A TRUCK WITH LESS THAN 1/4 TANK OF FUEL?

The staff seemed very stressed out and disorganized. The man at the front desk was speaking to his co-workers over the walkie talkie in a very disrespectful way that made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. He was very friendly to the us as the customers, but he was sounding very audibly frustrated towards his co-workers right in front of us- maybe it should have been saved for a different time/place.

WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH OUR SANTA ROSA STORE, THE EMPLOYEES WERE ALL COURTEOUS AND DILIGENT. WE PICKED UP OUR TRUCK AHEAD OF OUR RESERVED TIME AND THOUGHT IT WAS PERFECT FOR OUR MOVING NEEDS.

Sandy Kohne was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, and went the extra mile to help us out. She communicated with us regarding our U-boxes and their status, and returned phone calls promptly. She made sure our move went smoothly, and thanks to her, it definitely did. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and professional, but Sandy is an absolute standout. Whatever her salary is, you should double it. ;-) I will definitely recommend this U-Haul location to any of my moving friends in this area. Thank you, Sandy, and the rest of you Santa Rosa Ave. U-Haul employees!
