1. The truck I rented was old. 1a. It started right up and ran well but was incredibly rough riding. Not only is that a negative for the furniture but it's impossible for me to imagine someone using this on a distant move. My move was 35 miles and all highway yet I felt like I had gotten off a roller coaster after riding in that truck. 1b. The vibration is so bad that full bottles of water jump out of cup holder. 1c. The vibration damaged the circuits. As such we had 5 minutes of working air conditioning on a hot day. The dome and cargo lights worked intermittently. 2. The loading ramp was unsafe. It came completely out of truck when pulled. To load it back we had to line up wheels. At one point the ramp slammed on my son's fingers. It was painful and resulted in a bad blister but could easily have cut his finger off. 3. We ordered the truck online with a furniture dolly. When we picked the truck up the service attendant very casually informed us that they had no furniture dollies. That's unacceptable for a customer to plan a move and reserve equipment and then not have it available. Either you need to invest to adequately stock equipment, improve logistics, or at least warn those reserving them online that they are subject to availability. We had to drive 20 miles opposite direction of our move to get a dolly. Then we had to drive 35 miles from our new residence to return it. That's 55 miles for which U-Haul charges $0.99 per mile. Not to mention the wasted time. 4. The customer service at pickup was not rude, just unhelpful in terms of the dolly. I even asked about the $19 dollies you have for sale but was not offered to get one for the rental price. 5. In contrast to bad experiences above, I will note that the customer service on return was very polite and helpful. Both persons there indicated sincere concern when I notified them about the ramp and stated they were going to warn another user who had picked up the truck that morning. Based on this experience it would be hard for me to choose U-Haul for my next move. I need to rent a pickup truck in a month or two and would have used U-Haul. My daughter has a home move in January but she was not impressed with this truck so even though she lives 5 miles from this location I don't think she will use the service.

I was very disappointed to find out that my reservation had been changed to this location due to a lack of trucks at the location I chose. I rent a truck from this location every year at this time for an annual event at The Arkansas School for the Deaf, therefore finding a location nearby is very important to me. Being told at the last minute that my location had been changed was very inconvenient. I really don't understand why the truck couldn't be moved to my location by a U-Haul representative since it was their issue AND to help the "customer".

We have used the Cypress Street location for our events for years and suddenly have issues with getting large trucks at that location and multiple day rentals.The folks at Warden Rd location were great!

Although this store was the best of the bunch we had to go to in order to get everything we ordered online, we won't be using UHaul again. At least this store HAD what they said they had and didn't take half an hour to run a credit card.

The folks at U-Haul were very friendly. I was glad to see the fuel mileage was better than I thought. Plus, I was happy to get credit for unused boxes. Not many like the moving experience but, U-Haul made it fun. Thanks Brandy and Jeremy

I reserved a 6x12 enclosed trailer due to the high chance of rain. I did pick up the trailer that I had reserved but I could have just as well hauled everything on my own trailer as the U-Haul trailer leaked and the mattress and box springs were soaked.

Location in on a one-way street. When you exit to Kiehl Avenue off of Highway 67-167 between North Little Rock and Jacksonville, you will turn left and go over the freeway. You will come to the first traffic light. You will see U-Haul ahead and to your right. Your first inclination will be to turn right to reach it, but DON'T DO IT! That will take you to Warden Road, service road, one way below the entrance to the U-Haul location. Instead, at that first light after you cross over the freeway, go straight through the light, and you will see a sign that directs you to Warden road and will lead you to the one-way Warden Road about a half a block above the U-Haul location. Turn right onto Warden and then right into the U-Haul driveway.

Ensure that the gas gauge is properly checked. What the paper said was 7/8 of a tank was apparently 3/4 on the actual gauge. The clerk fixed the discrepancy without issue since we had all the receipts to show that it was mathematically impossible and therefor shouldn't be charged the fee... but if we hadn't caught it we would have since gotten the fee since they didn't say anything otherwise. The truck (26') was the worst we had ever driven/ridden. We've moved 20+ times btw. Workers said new trucks will be in at the beginning of the new year. We won't be renting from Uhaul until that time we don't think. The truck was clean and all. Just the actual mechanics/ suspension/ etc were terrible. The Dash pops off too. Even the dolly snapped off the zip-tie (we never used it as we have our own that's larger) and started flying around the trailer due to the truck flailing on every little bump.

The employees need to be trained better in how they explain the fees. I was told that the total quote was for my estimatesmileage as well as for the use of two dollies however I only needed to pay the lesser amount for one dolly and the difference would be due if I broke the seal and used the second one. The day I had to return the truck, not only did she say the opposite of what she explained last night, I was upset about the phone call she made to me after I had made a courtesy call to the store this morning to let them know that the truck had broken down and that road side assistance would be there with an eta of 60 minutes and she states that she noted the account. So then I get a call from an employee saying she "really needed" the truck back. I told her that I had called to let someone know about the road side assistance and she said that she was aware but still needed it right away. Seriously? Was I supposed to speed or did I have any control on how long the repair would take? Turns out the lady who checked me out was the one who called me and then told me that she didn't see the note. Now she told me on the phone that she "was aware" of the situation. Not thrilled about the service at this location at all.

When a rate is quoted online and nothing changes for pickup date, time, mileage, equipment, etc the rate should be the same when you goto the location. We had to argue to get the rate quoted and the manager had to get involved. Not a good first experience. At drop off, everything was smooth and rate was as promised by manager. Just improve the quote/pickup process and that would make for a great experience. Thanks.

We reserved a truck on Tuesday and t hey called Friday morning and told us we would have to go to the closest U haul,which was 2 hours away, and get our « Reserved» truck. WE ask THEM if they had a smaller truck. So we ended up with a much smaller truck than we reserved. I ask if we would get a better deal because of the inconvenience. We were given $50.00 off of our $200.00 Bill.

I reserved the equipment online and per conversation with empl at the Sherwood location . The earliest the truck was available, 11 am. Arrived to pick up the truck and equipment and was informed the appliance dolly and furniture dolly I reserved were not available. "You have to come early" per U Haul employee. OK, so what was the point of reserving the equipment if they are not going to ensure it is available at your pickup time? This little tidbit of information made our whole day of moving much harder than necessary. Main reasons for renting equipment...truck with ramp and dollies!!!

The truck I had was old. The brakes were slipping and the entire truck kept shaking and making clicking noises. This truck needs to be retired before someone is killed or hurt. My family felt very unsafe. I have used uhaul for years, this was the 1st bad experience.

I was surprised in this day of data theft that the customer service representative wouldn’t tell me if you had a trailer available without getting all my information, including credit card. Not only did it take a lot of time, it also made me wary and uncomfortable. If you hadn’t had something available, I would have given it all for nothing.
