Let customer only book equipment if its there or available.. I got appliance Dolly but couldn't use it for boxes so was waste of money.. and window outside truck was dirty.. but front desk very helpful and nice made it easy and no line.had right truck and overall was quick and easy thank you...

Check out process was very unprofessional. Person did not seem to know what he was doing. He told us it would be one price. The check in process lady told us it would be another price. Manager had to call to clarify. Overall, would not use again.

I originally reserved a 10 foot truck for moving furniture to the landfill. When I arrived at the Simi Valley location, they told me that only the trucks are authorized to go to the dump. This was a HUGE inconvenience for me. I would recommend that you notify the customer when there are provisions for your trucks. When I made the reservations, I mentioned at 3 different occasions that I was taking it to the landfill.

Your questions are misleading for future customers. You ask how was your uhaul experience and then only ask about the location. My experience with the uhaul reservation process was POOR. I reserved a 26ft truck at StorCal in Newbury Park. Without any notification my pick up location was changed to the Postal Annex location in Thousand Oaks. Two nights before my scheduled pick up time, I called the Postal Annex location to see if I could pick the 26ft truck up at 10am rather than noon. At that time I was told that was not a problem. My pick up of a 26ft truck at the Postal Annex was CONFIRMED. On the night before my scheduled pick up time, I got both a text message and phone message that my pick up location had been moved 20 miles away and that only a 20ft truck was available. I called the woman back as soon as I could and determined that there were no 26ft trucks in a 40 mile radius so my reservation was revised to a 20ft truck at the Simi Valley location. I asked where was the closest 26ft truck and she said Santa Barbara. When i asked why that truck couldn't be brought over for me she said "we are not staffed to do that". I relied upon your word and hired loading help based on your confirmation that I would have a 26ft truck to move my stuff to Henderson, NV. I hired a 4-person team in Henderson, NV to unload my stuff. Uhaul's unilateral change of trucks from 26ft to 20ft resulted in a significant financial detriment to me. I hired loading and unloading teams that were too large and I need to hire a truck for an additional move. I think your lawyers will agree that Uhaul's actions border on "bait and switch" in this instance.

Emergency brake warning chime came on for 7 hours of drive, never used e brake. Had to turn up radio with broken speakers. Truck ran good though.

If you have smaller trucks available..dont say they are all reserved when they are not. You had 5 trucks sitting all day..and made me pay more for a bigger one. Also trailer I rented for 1200 mile trip had 2 old tires 2 new ones..old ones needed air.not very reassuring.

Unfortunately I had a problem with the trailer I rented in Simi Valley. It was too small and I had to get a larger one in Escondido. The Escondido staff was excellent and helpful and understanding,. This was not the case with Simi Valley. Jim, the manager, was testy from the first time I made a reservation by phone. He was not helpful but rather rude. After returning the trailer and having to pay double for not taking it back to the original locations, I was told by a young male that I was probably going to be banned from ever using UHaul again. I have used UHaul for over 45 years but if this is the way I am treated I will gladly be banned from using your equi[pment. Rest assured that I will be telling everyone I know about my experience.

I rented the trailer at 7pm on Friday, and returned it at 7:45pm on Saturday. Since you close at 7pm on Saturday, I was surprised that I was charged another full day. Think about applying a grace period, or possibly just charging for the actual overage and not an entire extra day.

Need to have more on site parking for customer cars who are doing short term rentals. I was given a very hard time for parking more than 30 minutes on site, and the off site parking that's available quite frankly sucks. This is the third time that I've been given a rash of crap for exceeding the 30 minutes.

Truck was dirty both inside and out,( windows were filthy) and also was not running correctly. It may need a tune up. People behind counter worked fast and were polite both when picking up and returning truck.

Employee sat on couch texting never looking up or acknowledging us. Finally someone else came in and helped told the guy to get to work. When I came back with the truck this guy was helping me. Trying to charge me $50 more than what mileage I had put on the vehicle. He said that was what was agreed upon...I told him it was an ESTIMATE! Finally someone stepped in...This guy had a hearing problem, but did not know how to work with the public. If he was on his break he should have been out of view, or gotten us help when we first walked in. This is a manager?? The other guys had more experience than this guy. I'm all for hiring the handicapped, but at least train them right and have them answer to someone...He had attitude when I called him on not acknowledging us at all when we walked in and waited for 4 minutes. I did report this to the "owner/manager". I have delt with U-Haul for over 40 years and never had this type of treatment.
