First of all, the general manager said that there was half a tank of gas, and it wasn't. I turned right around and went back and called him out on it, said he would correct it. Then when I get home I looked at the mileage on contract to see how many I used to drive to my house and according to them I travelled 17.5 miles when I only live 3.5. Again I called and told him I felt they were ripping me off. He said he would correct it, when I went took it back they said they credited me for the 14 miles and the gas. Bull..had I not caught it it would've cost me an additional 8.26 plus tax and an additional 3$ for gas. I feel that I should be compensated for all that they put Mr thru. I called the 800# and again was told they credited me and again I said bull. She had me so pissed off I finally hung up on her. I will post on Facebook and yelp regarding this experience. When I told her that I felt 15$ should be credited to my card, she responds in a condescending way...you want 15$ back on a 40$ charge? I said yes. Did I yell and swear damn right. I don't appreciate being ripped off and told that I was credited for something they were blatantly overcharging me for. My boss needs to rent a truck next weekend, I will let him know and everyone else I know how you people do business. I am one person, but all it takes is one and thousands will know and go elsewhere. I'm in retail and customer service, when I have an unhappy customer I take care of them so they will come back for their future needs.

The manager or proprietor (young blonde guy - has a Swedish 1st name...) of this location always runs a tight ship and knows how to get shit done! Not perfect, but makes shit happen! He is always out-front, taking charge and visible-you can tell right away he is the BOSS!I tip my hat to him!

This survey does not ask enough questions. If it didn't include this comment section how would you know that the car dolly I reserved was not available when I arrived to pick it up. The inventory online apparently showed 2 units onsite that weren't there. And it didn't seem to me that any action was taken to get another unit until I called about 2 hours later and was transferred to a regional office, who then contacted the local Uhaul location with instructions to get another unit from a location that was closed. These delays caused me to be on the road well after dark retrieving a vehicle. A sound business practice would be to do a physical inventory at the end AND start of each day. And why did it take action on my part to get another unit secured for use? The reason I would recommend this location to someone else is - it's the only one open all day Sunday and weekday evenings in this area.

Please have your staff arrive on time. Four customers were lined up at 9am on Sunday. The first staff person showed up at 9:05. The second at 9:10. Also...the counter person wanted me to hook onto the trailer, have lights checked, and then come back in and stand in line all over again. (I talked her out of that since the store opened late and I was already running behind.) Why would you put your customers through the waiting in line process twice? That makes no sense at all. It consumes more staff time which increases your labor costs and slows down customer service time. Check each trailer before it goes back into inventory. Deal with each customer ONE time at the counter. Then on the 1% of the times that trailer lighting may not work properly, bring the customer back to the counter to be assigned a new trailer ID number. That way 99% of the time you can process a customer with one visit and serve more customers faster.

I was told I could have truck till 5 Sat but when I picked it up on Fri after work was told I had to have it back by 1 cuz someone else needed it. They also did the se thing to customer beside me. I had to rearrange all my plans as far as along sure my helpers could adjust their schedule. Manager said there was just nothing he could do and. ' go ahead and call corporate office if you want'. This I believe is probably the worst customer service I have EVER had. I hope to God I never need another u haul.

Not sure if it's the location or the company... but U-Haul needs to get organized. The trailer than I had reserved, despite confirmation, was not there when I arrived. I was rented another trailer on condition that it be returned to the original pick up location, which I did but was out of my way.

My pick-up experience was terrible, but my drop off was excellent. The wait was over 30 minutes, which had a lot to do with the rude customers that had no problem jumping ahead of me in line, but I feel that at least one of the two cashiers working could have paid attention enough to step in and queue that I was next to be helped. When I finally got my rental, I had to turn around and exchange it within a half mile as the engine light came on. The whole ordeal took over an hour, and having made a reservation ahead of time, it made the whole situation less acceptable. The gentleman who helped me when I dropped the vehicle off, was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Had I received the excellent service from the original cashier as I had from the other gentleman, I would have at least felt it had been worth the wait to a significantly higher degree. The drop off experience is the only reason I am giving the average rating, rather than poor.
