I have been using this UHaul site for about 13 years, a monthly rental. During my last two visits, I have had to get the truck from the parking space. In the past years the truck would be brought to the door area. Does this have something to do with a new crew and cold weather? I had to squeeze to the back of the parking row, remove the window blocking sign, and turn out the mirrors. My opinion is that service is getting worse.

The service is great. Since I drooped off the U-Haul after business hours, there was a problem with the gas tank level. I add the gas to full before I returned the U-Haul, but they said the gas tank is not full when they checked in the morning. I called the U-Haul stuff there for the gas tank level dispute, and this issue was solved. Both of us don't have evidence to show the real gas tank level since the U-Haul is out for rental earlier this morning. They agreed to reimburse the gas charge. They also suggested me to return the U-Haul during business hours to avoid this kind of issue. I am satisfied with the result for this issue.

I came to this location to rent a 5x8 trailer for a few hours. The first trailer's wiring did not work. After 15 minutes of testing, the first employee sent me to the front of the store to another trailer. There, a second employee connected a second trailer to my car. When the second employee did the "lights" test, I noticed that my hazards were not making any sound, but the employee said everything was fine so I signed the contract (with insurance) and left. As I left the lot I noticed my turn signal no longer made noise, but kept driving assuming that this "just happens" when trailers are connected. A few hours later, when I returned and they disconnected the trailer, I noticed the sound was still missing. I then quickly noticed that my turn signals were not working at all. I immediately went to the service desk and let the representatives know. Without hesitation or apology a third employee (possibly the manager) told me that it was my problem and U-Haul would assume no responsibility. It is very unlikely that my car would spontaneously blow a fuse while it happened to have a trailer connected. It was raining, and all of the cords for the trailers were lying on the wet ground. It is much more likely that the second employee installed a wet cord, causing my turn signal fuse to blow. Since "no sound" apparently means "no lights" the second employee also sent me out without working lights. Thankfully, on my way out after returning the trailer the first employee caught me, reasoned that it was likely a blown fuse, and helped replace the fuse. He deserves recognition for helping. This does not, however, excuse the unsafe actions of the second employee or the indifference and unkindness of the third (manager?) employee. If other customers use this location, be sure to check your lights yourself (before and after the trailer is installed and uninstalled) because some employees cannot be trusted. The management will not help you.

The dolly included in the truck is right in the way of where you would want to load longer items (sofa, mirror, etc). Would recommend no dolly in the truck, unless requested.
