I was very satisfied with everything until the day I needed to pick up the truck. I was running a little late and it looked like I would get there right at "closing" time. I was told by one of your agents they couldn't wait/door would be closed promptly, only to find out I had at least another hour to work with! I rushed over from the hotel for nothing and was very frustrated with the misinformation! Other than that, everything else was OK.

Although the truck I reserved wasn't available at the reserved location and time, the manager at the Route 1 Saugus U-Haul location at 66 Broadway did an extraordinary job tracking down a truck in the area.

Uhaul told me the gas tank for my truck was 36 gallons. I started with 9/16 tank full and refilled 21 gallons at E to get right back to that. Turns out the tank was ¾ full so uhaul was wrong in saying the tank was 36 gallons. I was not reimbursed for the extra fuel I put in due to their misleading tank size. Yet uhaul charges customers $5 per gallon for any fuel they need to put in. Bogus.

Keep up the good work. I had a rental for 4PM, but the previous customer did not return the truck on time. I was offered a slightly smaller truck that became available and quickly was on my way. I was given an extra hour for the return time even though it turned out that I didn't need it. Great customer service!!!

I was blown away by the customer service at this location. I do not expect to have a good time when I have to use U-Haul, but I was met with cheerful, capable, and helpful employees at every turn, as well as a great van. I couldn't be happier.

The entire experience was outstanding. The staff is professional and the vehicle was perfect. They worked to get us the best vehicle for our needs, and provided it a vew hours before our scheduled pick-up time. I highly recommend this U-Haul location.

Hello. We've always rented from UHaul but I have to say this has been our worst experience yet. We picked up the truck in Somerville, MA. The woman helping us was nice but it was her manager, Jeremy Ouellette, that made our experience terrible. We were told that the drop-off location for our 24-hour one-way trip (Brighton, MA) did not accommodate after-hours drop-offs so we would have to wait until the next morning to return to the truck. Then we were told that the Brighton location was closed the next day so we would have to go to another UHaul location for returns. All of these locations were significantly farther than what we had been told previously. I asked why we had to do this and Jeremy told us it was because everyone in Boston was moving on September 1st so the UHaul locations couldn't accommodate too many trucks. Fair enough. However, I had paid extra for the one-way trip from Somerville to Brighton for convenience. I mentioned this to Jeremy, who then repeatedly told us that "everyone in Boston is doing the same thing that you are". He went so far as to threaten to cancel our reservation ("I can cancel this if that's what you want.") He told us, "You picked a bad time to move. Everyone is moving this weekend. If you wanted a truck, you should have moved on another day." Then he walked over to his office area. We could see him standing there and he made a few more remarks that indicated he was frustrated with us (e.g., "You have got to be kidding me.") UHaul, I understand that September 1st is a really tough time for moving trucks in Boston. However, I am absolutely appalled by this type of customer 'service'. Never have I been talked down to like that. Jeremy was yelling at us the whole time and we could tell he was frustrated, even though our questions were fair. It would have been one thing if it had ended at that. However, when our transaction went through, the system said that the Brighton drop-off location was actually available for us. I asked, "Does that mean we can drop off the truck after hours?" Jeremy said, "The system said you can go to Brighton, so go there." Note that that did not answer my question. I asked again, "So can we go there after hours?" Jeremy said, "I'll say it again. How many times do I have to tell you? When you are done moving you can go to Brighton." I said, "That didn't answer my question." My girlfriend said, "We want to know if we can drop the truck off after hours so we don't have to wait until the next day." Jeremy angrily repeated that he already told us we could go to Brighton and walked away to answer a question for another customer. As you know, rental trucks are not cheap. I did not give $300 to UHaul so I could be berated and yelled at. Worse is that this is your General Manager. If your managers are picking fights, you are sending the wrong message to customers and setting a poor example for other employees. I have never walked away from a situation feeling so talked down to. I've been u

Our uhaul broke down. I was on the phone for 45 minutes waiting to speak to someone from the uhaul emergency line. No one picked up. So I had to call a service to get a jump which cost me 40 dollars. Before confirming that I was going to do the 24 hour drop off. I asked the guy where there was a gas station to fill up gas, he said right next door. There was. But when I got there, it was closed. Drove around for 20 minutes going to every gas station near by to fill up and all of them were closed. So I had to pay the gas surcharge because I wasn't given the proper information. Definitely feel like I was taking advantage of. And had a pretty bad experience with you. Will never use uhaul again. And I was strongly encourage my friends to do the same unless they feel like being tricked.

I booked my storage room over the phone as there was an offer for a free first month storage. When i went to the store a couple of weeks later to get the keys, I was told by the individual on the counter that the offernis not applicable even though it was confirmed by the lady on the phone. I had no other choice but to pay for the room. Very disappointing.

The yard man rocked the trailer and the yoke was rammed into the lift gate on my car. I thought he broke his arm as it was caught between the trailer and car. Your insurance covered the damages to my car, but it was a nuisance to have to get it fixed. If you were to improve anything, may sure rolling stock is on a flat surface, devoid of ruts that hold the tires (that is what caused the accident).

If you could make it more efficient to pick up my trailer that would be helpful. I needed to wait in line twice. I needed to present my license and credit card even though this was a second rental.
