There is a total lack of empathy and care about the customer experience among the guys on the lot. When returning my truck, I mistakenly parked it in a spot next to all the other trucks. Turns out there is a special place to pull up where they do the return inspection, etc. They refused to help me because I was in the wrong place, a mere 20 ft away. Instead of help, all I got was attitude. No good!

Reservation return time was changed without notification. Your computers show that an email and voicemail were left. The email about the change was never received, even though I received all other messages from uhaul. Looking back through my phone records I was called once on the day your records state I missed that call and no voicemail was left. My phone makes this distinction between missed, declined, voicemail, and no voicemail very very clear. So having my move turn into a 29 hour moving nightmare is entirely your fault and I will never be renting from you again, and I will be actively encouraging others do the same.

The location was fine. The scheduling center is the real issue. They gave me the wrong location and time. I was forced to reschedule last minute and got a truck that was too small. I had to make two trips, doubling my mileage, in a tiny truck. One of my friends had to drive an hour away due to the same lack of competence displayed by the scheduling center.

Unique, the staffperson who helped me regisyer, was extremely helpful as was the manager of the site. I had concerns about the movers I had hired, and the UHAUL team had answers and suggestions for me. It was so helpful.

The people I dealt with to rent the van were great. The web I used to make a reservation needs some bug fixing. I reserved a pickup truck at about four in the afternoon. Shortly after making the reservation I called a taxi to take me to the location. When I arrived I was told that my reservation had been cancelled because it was not picked up at the time for which it was reserved. They said it was scheduled to be picked up at 12:30pm, three and a half hours before I made the reservation. They also said that they did not have any pickup trucks available, although they did have a van. When they tried to change my reservation to be for a van the system would not permit the transaction. If they could have changed the reservation it would have saved me time because I had also done an express check-in when making the reservation. By the way, I am a programmer with web site experience. Are you hiring? You should be. If you are hiring, please contact me at drummike@gmail.com Once again, the people behind the desk were very helpful and professional. They had to treat me as if I'd just walked off the street, and could not give the type of vehicle I had reserved, but they did get me a vehicle so I could do what I needed to get done.

Customer service reps were very friendly and provided easy-to-follow instructions. The site could have had additional parking. Luckily it was the weekend, and I was able to park at another business that was closed. Those moving on a weekday may have a challenge finding parking during the busy August/September season.

Have a person who directs parking when you get there. It was a clusterfuck just trying to park my car so I could go in and get my van.
