I returned the truck with the correct amount of gas. I was very carful to make sure of this. I got a 12 dollar fee saying that I was under the mark, I guess by 3 gallons. I don't think this was correct. Other then that I was happy.

The manager, Christopher Rovendro, was extremely unpleasant to work with. He called and told me my reservation wouldn't be fulfilled because of a bad tire on the trailer I reserved. With a couple hours before my scheduled pickup I suggested a few other solutions but he did not seem to care whether I got the trailer today or not. Once everything was figured out and I was onsite to pickup the trailer, he actually told me I was very lucky that they went out of their way to have the equipment ready for me. FOR MY PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED RESERVATION. Seriously? It's not like I walked in off the street and demanded a trailer. Maybe I am confused about what you do at U-HAUL? I thought it was part of the agreement that when I schedule a rental, you do your best to fulfill it? When did that become more than standard service? When I returned back I pulled into the marked, painted and covered "Equipment Dropoff" area and unhooked the trailer. Little did I know that that would provoke my friend Christopher to come outside and yell about how this area is only for inspection and that I was required to pull up to the back parking/storage area to park the trailer with the other rental stock. Extremely unhappy with the experience at U-HAUL and with the terrible management team at this location. Will not be using or recommending again.

There were NO furniture pads in the UHaul although I was charged for them. Someone at the Somerville office told me a "note" was added to the contract, yet no one was able to confirm it at the drop off location.

The woman at check-in was wonderful. I forget her name, as it was unique, but she was very helpful and very nice. Every single customer service professional should follow suit. (Not just in that location but everywhere). Moving day is usually very stressful and started it off on the right foot was nice.

Double check the electrical of each trailer. I was sent home told my harness was the issue. Had it tested and found out to be the trailer at U haul. Lost 3 hours of work day and then was given a different trailer to complete work. Shit happens. Over all went satisfactory.

I did have several issues with the after-hours return, including an incorrect charge for fueling, as well as a problem with UHaul not being able to find the keys I put in the drop-off box. However, I was extremely impressed with the General Manager's handling of both issues- they were each corrected within minutes of me speaking to him. Therefore, despite the issues (which were understandable; mistakes happen), I was very appreciative of the service I received at this location.

We were "upgraded" from a 17' to a 20' with no notice because of availability issues. Lucky my husband was comfortable with the bigger truck. I think at least a notification and going over our options was called for.

The truck was clean, but I got stuck three times, which robbed at least an hour and a half out of my day. It was not snowing the day I moved - I realize that there was snow on the ground, but it wasn't significant in the areas that I got stuck. My girlfriend rented from Budget, came all the way up from the Cape, picked up a bed in Duxbury, and had no problems - she didn't get stuck at all. I don't know if the tires were bald on the truck I rented or what, but it shouldn't have gotten stuck where it did!
