The windshield was filthy and the cupholders were full of something sticky. Rest of the experience was good, just thought cab could have been cleaner, but the proprietor was nice.

These folks make renting equipment so easy and convenient. Even if I need a truck or van on short notice, I am confident they will accommodate me and with a smile. I am always in and out without waiting ad am so glad they are so close by.

uhaul should be checked before handing keys over. Make sure last rental cleaned and cleared all articles out of truck, rental would be nice if more than 1/4 tank gas to start.

I would suggest that you audit this facility due to some very strange practices I encountered during my processing, including: 1) When I reserved the vehicle on Dec. 26 to use on Dec. 27, I was told by the owner that the rental was $29/day and $0.89 for each mile. When I returned the vehicle the night of Dec. 27, I had traveled 89 miles. Thus, before tax, my bill should have been $29+0.89x89=$108.21. I was charged $138 (after taxes). In checking the receipt when I returned home, I noticed that I was charged $1.09 / mile by the same owner who told me it was $0.89 / mile. In fact, I never was presented with any paperwork during check-in that listed the mileage rate and daily cost. I accepted their verbal statement the day before, and they ended up using it to cheat me. 2) During the check-in process, both my driver's license, credit card information and email address were hand-written on a piece of paper by the attendant. When I returned the vehicle, I was told that I did not need to swipe my credit card and it was all taken care of. 3) When I pulled up to refill the gas at the U-Haul location (which doubled as a gas station), my credit card was blocked at the pump and it read "See attendant." I told the attendant (owner) that I wanted to put about $5 in the tank to top it off to the initial 1/4 tank level that was in the tank when they gave it to me. Instead, the attendant looked at the gas gauge, and somehow estimated an $8 charge which I had to pay in cash and that he said he would pump. In sum, he denied me the right to pump the gas to the level that I felt was proper (about $5). I also find it disturbing that a gas station cannot fill the tank of the truck up before loaning it out (like rental car agencies). This makes it easier for the consumer to simply "top it off" rather than having to estimate how to put in enough gas to put it back to a quarter tank. In fact, although they marked their paperwork at 1/4 tank, the vehicle actually had less than 1/4. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book to have the consumer over-estimate and put MORE gasoline than necessary before returning the vehicle. I am very disappointed with U-Haul and plan to tell my friends how I was cheated at this location (Yelp, Facebook) and by U-Haul, in general. Your corporation should remove the ability of this location to continue to operate a U-Haul dispensary in this manner, thus highly tarnishing your brand due to some very unusual and possibly illegal practices. Of course, I will try to rip you both badly on social media as my only real recourse. I feel embarrassed and feel stupid for being taken by such a con. Just keep the extra $20 bucks that you stole from me (the extra gas estimate - his $8 opinion vs. my $5 opinion and the $0.89 / mile quote vs. his final charge of $1.09 / mile). U-Haul is really no longer a company that I wish to use in the future. Greg Hyver 408-242-8330 (cell)

They are the best. Every time I go in there they are beyond helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I recommend them highly. Shammy,Ozzie, and their workers are always very respectful and friendly. They work hard to please you and it shows. Thank you for the great service.

Uhaul review This is a gas station with a small convenience center. People are in and out all the time. One person works at the desk. Husband at night and wife in the day. *. In order to make the reservation, call the location. There was no answer/voicemail a few times. When the wife answered, she said I needed to talk with the husband. To call back. I called again until finally got the husband and he said he would call me back in 10 minutes because he was busy. He did not call back in the next 2 hours. *. I called again. He took the reservation, gave me the reservation number. *. I called back the day before the move and the wife said that I needed to talk with the husband who was busy. I called back and talked with the husband to let them know that the truck has to be a 17 foot because the space to put a larger truck would have blocked the street and a smaller truck would be too small. He seemed frustrated with me and said finally that the reservation is not a guarantee of the size of the truck and that he would send me to another location if they didn’t have it and that he would see me tomorrow. He then hung up before I could say a word. *. I was very concerned that he would not have the truck. I had Paid Movers who were waiting for the truck and I could not spend the time running around to another Uhaul location. *. So, because I was very uncomfortable that this Uhaul location, I made a truck rental reservation with another Truck Rental company for the same time as a back up. *. The morning of the move, I called the Uhaul location to verify that the 17-foot truck was at the site. The wife answered and asked if I was the woman who has called 20 times. I told her I had not called 20 times. I told her that I needed to know if the truck is there at their location before I went to pick it up. She said that all local trucks are kept at the location and the long distance may not be there. The truck I picked up has Arizona plates so I am not convinced that this is the case. *. When I came to pick up the truck, the wife was there. She asked me if I had bad experiences. She said that I was stressed and she wondered why. I did not appreciate her questions. . When I picked up the Truck, the wife copied on a piece of paper my date of birth, drivers lic no, all info on there including my address, copied on a piece of paper my credit card number/ expire date/ code on back and wrote the address where the truck would be picking up things. This is a very unsafe way to handle confidential information. The amount of information taken and writing it down on scratch papers in front of other customers was not a practice I have seen before and I believe that it is a bad practice. *. Gave me a key and the form filled out. *. I asked for an inspection with the wife but she said that it was all in the computer. She would not do the inspection. She said that “they” had all the damage listed in the computer so ther

By charging your clients the correct rates as applied on the website. Clients who fail to look at the service rates for what they've renting can be mislead this department branch. Waited a half an hour to have a service rep even be present.

Scheduled 9AM pickup, and the guy was 1/2 hour late. He didn't have all the moving pads that I needed, and the ones he had were given to me loose (not folded). He did get another location to give me the balance of pads. Truck was clean enough, but both headlightss were way, way out of adjustment. After turning the truck in it was determined the truck was involved in a minor front end hit that left one light loose in the housing.... The location that I turned the truck in at also said that they were surprised that a truck this old was used on a one way trip.
