well you could start w having the truck that someone reserved available some where in the town they are moving from you could have better customer service and give people their money back when they return unused equipment and never refuse to take back your own equipment...i will never use uhaul again for anything EVER nor will i EVER recommend you to anyone

Worst customer service ever. Workers swearing constantly in front of customers, some with their young kids with them. Only one person could rent out the rental trucks and she was an hour late getting in. Requested blankets and were told they were in the truck and they were not at all. Very unorganized.

Shaners towing was the aboslute worst experience I have ever had. After waiting two hours and being lied to, they finally admitted they "accidentally" gave my uhaul away the day before so they just didnt have a truck. They then proceeded to try and give me a larger truck with the same contract. I got halfway down the road and realized it was over 8,000 miles difference than what the contract said was on the truck therefor I would have been expected to pay those miles because of their laziness and incompetence. I took the truck back, and waited another hour because they told me a different location was going to bring my truck over. After an hour no truck showed, and they admitted they were out of options and waved me off- not caring AT ALL.I then got to drive around town looking for a new truck. I eventually got one at bruns lane in Springfield il. Which they were fast and very nice. Shaners towing was by far the worst service I have ever seen and I REFUSE to use them again for any of my uhaul, greyhound, or towing needs. Kristen the office manager needs to get it together and not lie to uhaul customers or make reservations without trucks being present. 100% dissatisfied.
