The location was great but the reservation via the call center was a nightmare. I reserved my truck 1 week in advance 26' only to have it taken from me less than a day in advance and my reservation was then moved my reservation from the initial place in Martinez CA to Vallejo CA. The reservation was then cancelled without my knowledge or consent. So I had to are with the two horrendous females who accepted my call about the issue and were of no help. It was not until I spoke to an employee at the Vallejo site who was able to find one for me at Wilson Way in Stockton, but it was too small. Therefore, I had to pay more in gas and do two trips. Although the gave me what amount to a free round trip it still was more costly in time and money for gas on the truck and the mental headache of dealing with the general lack of respect and customer service at the call center. In the future I will call the site I want to rent from and NOT the call center

When returning the truck on a Sunday morning there was only one person in the office. The person at the desk was very professional and efficient but he could have used some help. Overall the personnel were terrific and fast.

I originally booked my reservation for pick up Sunday 03/9/2014 at 717 W 8th St Stockton, CA 95206 location. My reservation pick up time was 10am. I arrived about 10:15am. When I arrived the Uhaul representive walked in from outside already apologizing because he had just rented my reserved truck to someone else. To make matters worse, it was the last truck available at that location so I had to travel to a another U-Haul location further from my home, which means more miles I have to pay for . Is the standard for Uhaul to give away a reservation if the customer is 15 minutes late? This mistake delayed me an hour in moving from my old home to my new home, which delayed the time and I had to pay extra for the movers I rented. When I called customer service were very friendly and helpful when I made the reservation and I was looking forward to a good experience with Uhaul, but the representative giving away the reserved truck has left a bad taste in mouth about Uhaul. For the next customer when this mistake happens offer a financial credit to be applied for the inconvience the customer has to go thru for the mistake of the Uhaul representative. Thank You

The manager was cool and very helpful. He actually went out with me in the pouring rain and unhooked the trailer for me. Great guy and great service, liked it should of been when I picked it up.

The truck I was given leaked and stained my sofa. It leaked so bad that we had to use a broom to sweep the water out of the truck. I had the truck for one day and was charged for two. I admit it was returned after hours but it WAS returned the same day. My only refund was for $14.00. It was not the best experience I have ever had. I will think twice before I rent from U-Haul again.

Everything was fine, except there was only one guy working with a long line of customers, making us wait for an hour. It isn't fair to the employee and the customers to have to suffer for only having one employee work.

One of the rails on the side of the trailer had a broken rail that had been improperly repaired and still had a broken weld at the end of the rail that should have been a secure anchor point.The tires were extremely weathered and worn on both outer edges

Picking up the van was fine. Dropping off was not, I followed the instructions on the sign and stopped in front of the U-Haul store. The employee was in a private vehicle in front, he dot out and walked past me into the store. I saw him enter the restroom. Mean time another box van pulls in behind me in line. The employee exits the store and goes to the second vehicle in line and helps that customer. So much for following instructions.

The gas should be full instead 3/4, its difficult filling the gas back to the 3/4, it would b much easier to fill it up to full

Very helpful and efficient staff. Place was orderly and clean. The door on the trailer did not work properly. Might make that part of the initial check before the customer leaves. Took 2 hours for repairman to arrive who was overbooked, very pleasant and did and excellent job.
