Reason for N/A for last question is because I picked up my uhaul which I reserved the prev. day. 8/21/15. not a problem at all, friendly phone service. call back for confirmation was very quick and professional. However when I went into the Tam O Shanter location... the gal that helped me was NOT informative. I had no idea what was going on or that I had to be the one to check mileage, gas and check off damages to truck. I waited outside for 20 min. with a clipboard thinking she was going to come help as this was my past experience with your company as uhaul is the only truck rental service I have ever used because it's what I know. when I went in to ask her when she was coming out to help with this. she was VERY rude and spoke to me in a condescending tone. It was clear I had no idea what I was doing and told her someone always has helped in past... her reaction was rude and uncalled for.. to be honest I didn't understand a person like that in a customer service position. I didn't get her name but there were only 2 ladies there... she was the darker complexion gal, dark hair and thin. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE...if people like this will be checking out your equipment, I will never give my business again nor would I recommend anyone to this particular Tam O Shanter site. P.S. upon return (around 2:40 pm) the next day, the ladies were extremely helpful and very, very nice.. I normally do not even do these surveys but this girl was so rude I felt compelled to speak out on her behavior and hope it can be rectified before she causes your company to start losing business. Again, this was the Tam O Shanter site. Thank you

I would suggest that when a customer calls in to make a reservation to make it very clear how long they have the rental for. This want done in my rental and caused a hiccup in my plans and issues with the store since there was another reservation close to mine.

Poor customer service at the desk. I felt like I was at the DMV instead of a customer at a store. I rather go to a friendlier atmosphere where people take the effort and help a customer instead of displaying an "I don't care attitude". I felt that I was more of a burden upon my arrival.

The rental experience was well below expectations and I will never rent from uhaul again and will tell all my friends and family to stay away. The employees I spoke to from the initial phone call to rent our uhaul, to the call that confirmed the rental pickup and finally to the pickup at the Wilson Way location were all very unprofessional. We did end up getting the uhaul from the Tam O'shanter site where the customer service was better. I did finally speak to a csr at the Lodi store that worked very hard to find us a trailer when the 1 we reserved and was confirmed was not at the site for pickup. It was an extremely frustrating and infuriating experience. We dropped the trailer off on Oregon where we felt like we were in a different country, professional and friendly.

have enough people on duty early mornings , another customer had to yell out to get help on counter....had to help lift trailer onto hitch only women working....then when returning trailer employees are washing a car under shade and people are returning trucks, etc.

I did not like the employee who helped me. I do not remember her name but she was not friendly nor patient. Renting a van from U-Haul was my first time so I wanted someone to show/explain things better. So, I would recommend you to remind your employees about customer service.

I was late to pick up my rental truck and they gave it away. I reserved the truck with my credit card and I thought that was good enough. I ended up renting a van and had to make many trips. I was not happy for the extra work.

Received confirmation truck for pick up at Shell station on Martin Luther King Way, not true had to drive to another location for pickup. Asked for additional miles was told could not do. Over 7 miles but tank had more than agreed upon amount. Should be flexible

You can have your workers communicate with one another so that the rental goes smoothly and not like mine went today. My company will never use the services provided by uhaul again because your workers proved to be extremely unprofessional and complicated our day. Not only was my local uhaul unprofessional, but your main customer service line proves to be just as bad. The only help we did receive was when we were checking the truck back in , for the worker was very understanding and helpful.

Truck I reserved wasn't available, and while I appreciate the free upgrade, the back tires were almost completely bald. That made driving on the freeways very difficult. Also, perhaps a guide showing how much filling up each size truck on fuel would cost.

Appreciate the newer van although it had some rattles due to the metal divider and overhead foam pieces which would only take some rubber stuck in between them. I noticed a worker cleaning the windows on a van when I was returning mine but the windows always need a good cleaning whenever I pick up a U-Haul rental. The outside mirrors were so spotted it bordered on unsafe. The checkout and check-in is very good. Spraying some Fabreeze on the upholstery would be a nice touch for all your non-smoking customers, who are the majority now.

Disappointed in the fact that a 19.95 2 hour rental ends up costing over 50.00 plus replacement gas. There is no way that a quick turn rent that was under 20 miles should incur a .78 per mile charge!
