I have rented from a dozen or so uhaul places in my life. The kent location, was the best place I have rented from so far. Very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff, quick service, easy check in and out, clean low mile uhaul, completely gased up and ready. Absolutely 5 stars!

Do not go to Bedford or any of the Akron / canton locations they messed up my reservation!!! Took a whole day on the phone to try to fix.... Never did fix the mistake and ended up in streetsboro ... They were great!!!

I used a Penske truck the last time we rented for a move. The U Haul truck was better maintained and much cleaner. The service was quick and friendly. I will be coming back here if I need a truck again for local moving.

I had to pick up the truck at a location that was 25 minutes away from my scheduled pick-up location (I was informed of the day prior to pick-up - which left me time to contact other truck providers, only for them to tell me that they were booked up for the weekend [obviously]). And make no mistake, U-Haul forced me to pay for the extra fuel to make it to my first location because of their poor logistics. Either way, the truck was fine, the experience with the truck was fine, but the drop-off was my biggest hassle. #1. The designated drop-off point was clogged with trucks that weren't parked properly. They were scattered all around making the parking lot a maze. I was forced to park in the customer parking to avoid risking damage to the truck. #2. I replenished the fuel that I used prior to return (truck was only at 1/2 tank), and upon return of the truck I was told that because the gauge was reading 7/16ths of a tank (which by the way is garbage-micromanaging at its worst) that I had to either go back to the gas station (again, risking damage to the truck in the clogged, mismanaged parking lot) or be charged for 3 gallons of gas at $5 per gallon. How 3 gallons equals 1/16 of a tank in a 40 gallon tank is beyond me, but whatever. I opted to eat the fuel charge instead of risking damage to the truck, as I believed this option to be cheaper. I hope U-Haul feels justified in forcing me to pick up a truck miles away from my original location, then hitting me for another $15 for gas because they can't manage their locations properly. I will NEVER use UHaul again.

1st, The 10ft truck was very dirty, I used a Clorox wipe to clean the steering wheel & door handles. They turned dark grey. The entire cab was in need of attention from what appeared to be weeks of sweeping floor. Food debris and dirt were under each seat especially around the bolted down areas. The entire dash board & wind shield were coated with grime. I accepted the vehicle due to the importance of my trip. Upon. leaving the next morning, within five minutes of drive time. the check engine light came on. This really concerned me since I expect rental vehicles to be maintained. I called the Streetsboro center. The attendant Jordan Berger stated that the vehicle has a known bad oxygen sensor. She was waiting for parts." I am aware of this and reset the check engine light." I have a concern with renting a vehicle that has a known issue. I would have been great to been made aware of the issue prior to renting the vehicle. I was under much stress knowing that this vehicle may cease to operate, prior to speaking to Jordan, when I was on a strict time table taking my son back to college. This oxygen sensor also contributed to the poor gas mileage. I drove 437 miles and used 39 gallons of gas which averaged 11 miles a gallon on the high way. The next issue which really concerned me was the transmission. When the vehicle was fully loaded, the transmission would not always change gear when it should have creating a jerking action which the truck, It occurred sometime at a lower speed, but it was really enhanced when traveling at 70 mph with a full load. I had to slow to prevent a safety incident. When I finally arrived at Athens Ohio, I contacted the assistance number. I requested to take the vehicle to the nearest U Haul to have it switched out. I believe a poor operating transmission is a safety issue as it creating a jerking motion when driving. I was told the location in Athens was not a "HUB", so the vehicle could not be returned to this location. I was provided information with a location in Parkersburg West Virginia which was about 90 minutes from my current location in Athens Ohio. This extra trip did not fit into my sons schedule so I did not attempt to travel to this area. I drive the vehicle back to Streestboro Ohio at a slower speed to avoid any safety issues. Being a manager myself, any safety concerns, which was clearly stated when I spoke to the U haul rep during my trip, should have been addressed immediately. The correct action should have been to the closest U Haul location to evaluate the situation & provide a safe vehicle. I was told the location in Athens, which was a five minute drive was out of policy. Poor answer & seemingly poor policy for a safety concern. I something would have happened on the road, this review was be of a totally different type of conversation. Upon returning the vehicle, Jordan Berger had scheduled a mechanic for access the vehicle & provided a 25% discount for

The girl who attached the trailer to the truck did not engage the lower lip. I found this out when i turned the truck in and it engage while removing the trailer from the ball. Find someone who can do the job and don't put me in jeopardy because you can't hook up a trailer

Older trailers need to have newer style tie downs installed. That was disappointing to have small rails that tie down straps could not be used. Had to buy 3/16 rope and fish it behind rails to tie things down. I have rented newer trailers that allowed the tie down straps to be used. The old ones need upgraded or at least inform the customer

The first question when renting a vehicle should be, what are you moving today? Or what can I help you move today? If this question would have been asked my move and experience would have been so much better. I rented a cargo van and it was insufficient to move a king bed and I was not told this by the Uhaul location until the van was returned. I then had to rent a 14' truck two days later just to move a mattress. I spoke with someone in the AZ call center twice and the customer experience needs to be enhanced drastically when calling Uhaul's customer service.

Your staff this saturday was excellent. Well trained, great customer experience, and even suggested some better options for better handling of the product I was moving. Very impressed with the staff at 8am there. When dropping off the trailer the staff came out and greated me and really did a great job. Well done!

I had issues with the drop off location of my vehicle. I had returned the vehicle well before it was due, it was clean, and complete with a full gas tank. I was told and per my signed contract, that I could return the vehicle to this location in Streetsboro, but the morning after my move I was notified that my vehicle was supposed to be returned to a different location. I called my pick up location regarding this first, and they were very unhelpful and kept passing me off to different customer service personnel. When I called this Streetsboro location, I spoke with two different people who were equally not helpful and passed me off to other personnel and put me on hold for 15 minutes. Finally, the third time calling, a younger woman was actually helpful and let me explain the situation. She explained the check in procedures and actually transferred me to the correct person who could answer my questions. I don't remember her name, but I thanked her for actually being nice and helpful. I have used Uhaul many times in the past with no issues, but this experience has made me cautious of using them in the future. I am unfortunately a very disappointed customer.
