The customer service was horrible! No one even said hello when we walked in, the guy processing our trailer pick up did not look up from the cumputer/contract once and was just plain rude. We had another guy help us outside who was also rude, told us our truck couldn't pull the trailer (it is rated for 5000 lbs) and just slowed the whole process down. We rented from another location earlier this year and the check out process took aprox 10 mins this time it took 45-60 mins. We will never rent from this location again!

My name is Jacobhu. It's good experience to me, as I make a shortern moving form north Sueery to Central Surrey. The staffs of U-haul was precisly to tell me everything that I need to know. A specific calculation on gasline spend is a good management. And when I was delay a little bit time, one of a staff called me. This is a good rent a-car-sysytrem, I recommend U-haul, give two thumbs.

While this location was great, the Fleetwood location, where we had originally booked, was not. When we arrived at the Fleetwood location, we were told that the cargo van we booked was not available as it had been damaged in a gas theft. We had not been called, and the attendant basically shrugged it off & did not initially offer an alternative. Only when we insisted he do something as we had an appointment to meet with the van, did he call the regional manager, where we were finally redirected to the 84th Avenue location. When we asked for compensation because of the extra distance & inconvenience, the Regional Manager initially offered us 2 free kilometres, which was much too low. He did finally increase it to 15 free kilometres, but that seemed like a pretty small amount for the stress & inconvenience.

Put on hold for a long time, when I first called. Lots of paperwork, when you have most of it available electronically. Could probably look at reducing all the unnecessary papers (and emails) I have had three, so far. thx

Three issues with this experience: 1) Be careful when booking online. I thought I booked for a "day" but when I arrived to pick up the truck was informed I had 6 hours. When I asked what would happen if I ran late I was informed there would be "serious consequences" which were not specified. The truck had to be "turned around" and it was booked out again 15 minutes after my scheduled return time, presumably for another "day" rental. 2) Rental starts from your appointment time, not when you get the truck, Rental started at 9:15 even though truck not ready until 9:30 reducing my "day" to 5 hours 45 minutes. 3) Was renting truck to move office furniture and I booked 4 dozen blankets for the move and it was confirmed online. When I arrived i was informed that there were 6 blankets on the truck. When I mentioned the booking they offered to rent me 6 more blankets for a total of 12 and was told they did not have any more. How can a business which rents equipment which will sometimes involve furniture moves expect people to make do with 6 or 12 blankets per truck. The staff gave me 2 toll free numbers and encouraged me to complain saying "they do this to us all the time". What kind of operation encourages customer complaints? Fortunately I was able to rent lots of blankets at another UHaul down the road, but it was very inconvenient. Since the move I have heard similar stories about UHaul from friends and associates and have been encouraged to try Ryder. If I evey move again, UHaul will NOT be my first call.

The day I picked up the vehicle, the lady who did the customer service was very good. She was courteous, prompt and attentive to my needs. However, when returning the vehicle I had a lot of problems which were compounded by a good-for-nothing man who passed bad remarks to my son-in-law and me. It was a Sunday and our contract stated that we have to return the vehicle by 7:00 in the morning. The lady who did the issue had told us that we may park the vehicle at anytime we bring it back, to lock it carefully and drop the key off at the key drop box. Accordingly we brought the vehicle back at about 1:00 in the midnight, parked it, locked it and wanted to drop the key off. But then we saw some unsavory characters hanging around the place and we did not drop the key. The key box looked very vulnerable attached on the outside of the fence and we did not want to take a chance -- but decided to hand the key over and settle the bill when the office opens in the morning instead. We came at about 6:50 as we forgot the opening time and came again at 8:50 in time for the office to open at 9:00. When the office opened we were standing in line. Then this big-mouth says, addressing his office staff something about everything being ok except for this one van that is parked outside and which is due to be returned at 7:00 this morning and 'they' have not returned it as yet. So I explained the circumstances but it seemed to be impossible to get the facts into his thick skull. He kept repeating that it was basically our fault. His attitude was bad and we felt insulted. I think you need to remove such good for nothing people from the front lines. The rest of the staff working there were excellent in contrast. Thanks

Ken & Kelly are instrumental in keeping this location running like a top. The computer program has a hard time switching over to light commercial rental rate for 1/2 ton trucks if the rental period is below 5 days so Kelly has to figure out the proper rate and manually input the informa, Kelly and Ken work with me to help me achieve the cost savings I require to keep renting trucks from uhaul making it a win win for all parties. Thxs.

The kid that helped me rent my cargo van was pretty rude, he kept interrupting me and my boyfriend when we were talking about the rental. It was an overnight drop off and he put in the file not to charge the credit card and that I would be in at noon to pay for it with my debit card. They acknowledged that they saw the file notes but still charged the card anyways. Very poor customer service and attitude from two shifts of employees. I will not be renting from this location again.

Train the employees on how to properly check the fuel level of the truck. That you can not just turn it on and off right away it takes times for the guage to get to the correct level. As this location tried to charge me the fuel fee when I put the right amount in. They went and double checked and realized they were wrong. No apologize or anything. Kind of lacking customer service.

Received a very rude call from your agent about being late. Was moving, traffic and elevator access was a problem. Informed me that he had another client wanting truck. I was never informed that trick was required back by a certain time. No need to be so rude
