When I got in the truck the odometer was .9 miles higher than what was on my contract. I didn't feel that it was worth the time energy to complain but it would have been nice if they matched seeing how I had to $.99 per mile. I rented the vehicle and trailer for two days and returned it after having it for approx. 29 hours. It would be great if U-Haul were to consider refunding a pro-rated amount based on an early return; i.e. I wouldn't have to pay for the entire second-day's rental if I returned it 5 hours into the second day.

The last two times I have rented the 10 ft. truck, I have been annoyed by the furniture pads in the back. They take up space in a small truck and are placed in a spot that makes it awakard to move in and out of the truck. Because of this, in the future, I will not rent U-hauls and will take my business elsewhere unless they are removed.

Retire this truck. it is not road worthy and certainly would not pass inspection. The transmission and/or governor has a major problem - truck does 40 mph on highway. Engine light is on. ABS Brake light is on. Ramp mechanism is faulty - spent **hours** by myself and with roadside assistance trying to get ramp back into the rusty undercarriage. I am shocked that U haul would give this to any customer, and not happy having had to pay for truck.

Your store clerk was a little rude and we had to come back for the furniture blankets when they weren't on the truck. Other than that, everything went very well; the check-in guy was great and it was less expensive than we thought it was going to be.

I bought a cable pull at the Utica location because I figured I would need it to get my car on the tow dolly. Before I used it I was able to get another one from a friend. I never even took it out of the box. When I dropped off the dolly I figured I would return the unused item. Tim was extremely rude when I tried to return the item. He went right into saying "I don't know it's scratched up" and asking how I got the car on the dolly without it. I explained to him that I never even opened the box and how it came about that I didn't need it. When I offered to show him the pull I used he said "that doesn't tell me that you didn't use it before you picked that one up" as if in some criminally masterminded way I spent time and energy tracking down a cable pull AFTER the fact just so I could return the unused one and use the second as my proof of not using the first. He also again accused me of lying because there could have been no way that a Uhaul store would sell me a pull in that condition. I don't have time nor energy for that level of deception over a $30 item. I also explained to him that it was possible that I had purchased an item which had been previously returned. Besides that I have to tell you that not only was the box in pristine condition but the pull was as well and he had no problem returning it to the shelf to be resold- which he did while I waited to complete my transaction. As a retail professional for over 20 years I have complained only one other time in my life. I have both respect and tolerance for employees because I realize how demanding customer service is. As a Store Manager with a staff of over 100 employees I feel that someone needs to be aware of Tim's lack of respect for his customers and his total disregard for the behaviors which I am sure Uhaul would like to promote with their employees. I was so disgusted I found the other associate explained my situation and showed him the cable pull which I actually did use. He was gracious and apologetic but he also told me that the manager is very aware of Tim's poor attitude and lack of respect for customer service. I hope this helps the store manager address this situation because Tim is an EXTREMELY poor representation of your corporation.

Clean the inside better. The exterior was just as bad as the interior so much it was hard to see out of the mirrors but the staff were nice.The location seems to get a lot of people with out proper credit and or even a driver license which of course was not the staff's fault but maybe another worker would help.

The gas amount over estimated, worst truck ever, loud air leak in driver side window, truck shook very badly any time I went over 50 mph.This truck should not be on the road. Not happy at all please contact me immediately 315-685-5819
