I recently went to the Tacoma location And after standing at the desk for 15 minutes the employee tells me that my reservation was changed 20 minutes from the other direction. He had no solutions, no apologies. So I fought traffic to stand in line again like I was at the dmv. The manager in federal way was kind and let me know the people at the counter ignoring me were from corporate, that's why they weren't helping me. The lady that did help me burped and then said "excuse me lunch. In a nutshell, this was not the best experience. I have my own business and I am not a complainer, but honestly I think they could have done better.

When I picked up the vehicle, the fuel was reported as 7/8 full, but was actually below 7/8. I filled the truck back to the same place it was when I rented it and was charged $9.85 with the fuel noted as between 3/4 & 7/8. I feel like I was cheated a bit.

Improve your website. Previously you would know immediately whether the pick up location you selected would have the equipment you wanted on the date you wanted. Now, you have to wait for an email or telephone call to give you confirmation.

When I got home and opened the trailer it was full of garbage and filthy. I spent 15 minutes cleaning it out. When I returned it I said something (my garbage was full and I had no place for it so I had to put it back in the trailer), and the lady working there tried to blame it on homeless people. It was packaging for a flat screen wall bracket and drink containers. I don't think a homeless person was responsible. It's not my responsibility to clean it out, it's theirs, and someone obviously didn't check when the trailer was returned. I love this location and their people, but I'm a little irked by their lack of care on this one.

I have never been so frustrated in my life. Initially when I made the reservation for the moving truck I was told that we could keep the truck all day as long as we put the keys in the night drop. When we picked up the moving truck we were told the truck had to be returned by 7 that evening. Seeing as though we lived across town we had to stop the moving process at about 530 to ensure that the truck was refueled and we would make it back to the location on time. The next morning I received a phone call inquiring where the truck was-this only frustrated me more because I was having to move additional items into small compact vehicles when I received this phone call. The manager could not locate the trick or the keys!!! I explained to him the situation and my frustration with the miscommunication of rental times. He was not very friendly but rather dismissive. During the entirety of the conversation he was able to locate the truck as well as the keys and also informed me that we could've had the truck for 24 hours. This only frustrated me even further. I asked if it was possible to get a truck or a small then to assist in our packing. Once again he was very rude and told me that I can have a truck for about an hour. Due to the miscommunication on U-Haul's behalf,my husband and I both missed work. Not only did we miss work but we made six round-trips to continue our move which could've been accomplished the previous day with a moving truck. I explain to the man that I felt like he could alleviate the situation to which she replied he would not refund my money or allow for me to have a truck at a reduced cost if at all. I explained to him that I would be calling or contacting U-Haul customer service and he explained to me that that would be fine because all complaints will come back to him. He also explained to me he was not allowed to give a refund of my money and more than likely I wouldn't get one. I feel as if the situation could've been easily fixed on Uhaul's behalf, this man chose to be rude and callous.

Have enough stuff available. Have stuff trained properly about customer service. The person who checked me in took long to check me in considering I had reservations, and was answering her personal cell phone while helping me???? Gave me the keys and pointed out to the location of the van, n said ur should be in that location. Asked me to call her if the van was blocked???? Good customer service is escorting the customer to the van and inspecting the van together..... I could go on and on, but........ Overall, didn't like my U-Haul experience......
