The man who helped me Wesley was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was very stressed out and upset as moving cross country can make you, also I'd never pulled a trailer before. He was very nice and by the time I left I felt much better about towing the trailer. Would recommend location.

Don't allow your facilities to be used by organizations trying to determine your clients' reactions to unnecessary harassment not related to your equipment or services inn order to see how they react to adverse conditions for the other organizations' purposes. .

Customer service was fine, we went to do the inspection on the truck and it was beat. We got a ten foot box truck. We opened the tailgate and it reeked of weed. We told the worker and he said that the person that dropped it off smelled like that too. He apologized and we went on our way. Our whole apartment now smells like weed. Thanks......

Sergio is an excellent leasing agent. Calm, clear, consise. The facility is well organized but the leasing office is jammed with moving products that makes it cramped if more than a couple of customers are in there at a time.

There are two things to be noted here. The first is that the on-site staff were actually helpful when the truck/towing-dolley was dropped off at the Tacoma store--and, upon request, wrote down confirmation of receipt for the equipment for this customer. The second is that over-the-phone staff was extremely rude, offensive and unprofessional. The equipment was needed for one more day than what was stipulated in the contract. Accordingly, this customer called to inquire about the process to make this happen and to find out the financial cost of so doing. Without making any effort to actually clarify with the customer, the staff lady who answered the phone started making mindless allegations that were both utterly unnecessary and uncalled for. An example of this was the fact that instead of seeking to understand what the purpose of this customer's call was--which as noted above was to figure out the process to keep the truck for one more day and to find out the financial cost of doing so, and which should have been in any case obvious to a competent customer service provider--this lady/staff/clerk purported to claim that this customer had stolen the vehicle illegally. When politely but firmly told to "please stop misconstruing the facts" this lady finally gave the information this customer was actually seeking (the cost/fees incurred in keeping the equipment for an additional day.) In addition to being rude and unprofessional, it is worth noting, this lady/clerk/staff was hostile to the customer for no reason. Perhaps she's the owner and can get away with such bad service without any major repercussion that scaring customers away for good. Regardless, it was quite an unpleasant experience and made so unnecessarily, for no actual reason by an unprofessional, seemingly incompetent employee. All in all, the customer service provided in-person was decent. If that had been this customer's only experience with this particular store, I would have recommended it to other customers here. Alas, the hostile employee/lady making wild, unnecessary and wholly non-sensical claims over the phone is sufficient for this customer feel duty-bound to encourage other potential customers to rent equipment elsewhere (i.e., a different U-Haul store if one is nearby)--lest other customers' unforeseen need for keeping the equipment one more day be used by the same incompetent employee to start accusing them of stealing the equipment for which they had paid in full and were willing to pay for another day!

My pick up experience in West Seattle was horrible! On the contrary, my drop off at Tacoma on 12th & L was great! I was greeted at the truck by a very nice and helpful employee. He introduced himself and shook my hand. I believe his name was Dion. He was professor, throrogh, and I could tell he valued my time!

You need to staff better in the key p/u and return times. It should not take 30+ minutes to pick up a reservation vehicle. Also, staff need to be trained better in using company software. It took 15+ minutes to get a receipt printed.

Well I was sent to tacoma after having made a reservation in federal way. They said it was for a van after reserving a truck. I was already upset knowing I had to go over 20 miles out of my way. The reservationist gave me an extra 20 miles. We get to tacoma after having to extend my reservation pick up & they have no van for me. Okay, so we wait for the clerk to approve truck, we waited about an extra half hour 45 mins before settled. All in all we got an upgrade for no additional charge, plus extra mileage, which really worked out in the long run. Whoever made the reservations in the first place were the ones who messed it all up. I could have gone to another not so busy store and easily picked up a truck instead of sending me for a van that would have caused me 2 trips and more $. I was told that all the available trucks were for 1 way...since when? I have used uhaul many times. A + to the associates who did what they could in excellence, to assure I left with better experience. This way I got to pick up my bigscreen and daughters bed, where that extra mileage made it all worth it!!! :-)

This is the 2nd weekend in a row that I have rented from uhaul. Both experieces were good however I would like to highlight the excellent customer services I received from Wesley Sand at the Tacoma location. It was very chaotic when I arrived. Wesley was very calm, professional and acknowledged everyone as they came in. He was very confident in helping me select and purchase the correct connection device needed to tow the trailer. He went over the basics and provided good advise and insight for having a good experieces towing the trailer. He shook my hand and thanked me for my business. He recognized me and welcomed me by name when I returned the trailer the next day. Wesley stands out as someone I would trust, hire and promote in my own business. Please recognize him for his great customer service.

I want to talk to someone who can make me understand why I was charged three days late charge for a 26' truck that could not get off loaded due to the help your company listed for loading/off-loading not showing up at the destination site. I ordered a truck to be loaded and off loaded based on information listed on your website. The dates for these helpers are critical to coordinating the dates the truck is ordered for, if one or the other doesn't meet their obligation the whole trip becomes what it has become for me. I shouldn't be held responsible for the failure of missed coordinated appointments based on scheduling helpers based on information listed on your site. The questions asked in order to order a truck from your company are, "do you need help in Lakewwod, Wa?" and then, "are you going to need help in Wellton, Az?", by scheduling help to meet the dates of the truck you are assuming that they will be there on-time, but that wasn't the case here and it resulted in overcharges for a truck that sat for three days due to the failure of scheduled help at the off-load site. I don't feel this to be a fair practice for U-haul to be able to misguide customers in believing that by asking a customer if they need help to load/off-load their truck and order that truck based on the coordination of this help is right! I don't think that I should have to pay for the truck/trailer's extra days for sitting waiting for help to arrive for off-loading. I demand a response to this message and refund of these charges or I'll take this up with small claims court and the better buisness bureau. Thank you

We didn't like the physical location of the facility but the service was excellent. We also lucked out and got a nearly brand new van. The guys were top notch on their customer service. They clearly explained the contract and even recommended add-on products we needed. Overall it was a great experience.
