On Tuesday, July 29th, my husband reserved a 26' truck and car trailer from this location. On Wednesday, he was told that the trailer would not be at the location for pick up and it was our responsibility to pick it up at another location. Thursday evening we arrived to pick up the truck. My husband was on his way home when he noticed that the gas gauge was at a 1/4 of a tank, not the 5/8 of a tank he was told. When he called he was told that he should have verified the fuel before leaving and that he needed to return to have employees verify the amount. When returning, my husband was going down the SE 277th St corridor and noticed that there was smoke coming from the rear driver's side wheel. Upon arriving at the location he was asked if he had been driving with the emergency brake engaged. My husband is a professional truck driver, before leaving he had dis-engaged, re-engaged and dis-engaged the emergency brake to verify that it worked. An employee looked under the truck and saw that a hydraulic brake-line had broken. The Traffic Control Manager had to give my husband a ride home. Leaving us with no trailer and now no truck! I asked if a truck and trailer could be delivered to our house on Friday and was told that employees can't drive the trucks, so no. I asked if you "rent" out movers and was told I could go online and pay for some. I told him I wanted the rental for free - he said he would have to wait until he got into the office in the morning to see what he could do for us. A person in his position knows how much he can discount services and could have at least given us an idea. While your employees were enjoying their quiet evening at home, my husband and I were trying to make up for the hour and a half of time we lost tonight and trying to figure out how we could make up for the hour and a half we were going to lose tomorrow to come pick up the truck - again. We had three days to move, we now have two. My husband could have been killed tonight, or possibly have killed someone else. It was just luck that your truck did not cause a serious accident. Your company should mechanically inspect the vehicles when they are returned and again before they go out on rentals. I know you inspect them for damage and charge the customers for any - and the same attention should be given safety-wise. Although I have posted my irritation on my personal Facebook page, I have not contacted any consumer protection agencies.

Very slow and lacking in sense of urgency, and customer service. Not enough knowledgeable employees working for the foot traffic coming in. The vehicle we rented was outstanding. I will never use the location again.

My son, who drove the truck, indicated quite a back-up of drivers trying to get out of the lot... perhaps some way of queuing the trucks so no one gets blocked in... We had great service though, and would use this dealer again. Thanks!

Jasmine was great; she was helpful and friendly; even though the guys did not treat her with the upmost respect; one suggestion, clean the interior windshields; I had to wipe it off to drive it off the lot; could not see when the sun hit the windshield

Employees need to be better trained on rental trailers. When the trailer was installed on my vehicle it was noticeably leaning forward and I was assured by the installing employee that it was fine. As expected, when I loaded the trailer the lean got a lot worse, to the point that the trailer bar hit the ground at the slightest bump, including when I pulled back into their driveway to get it re-checked. Fortunately the manager who checked my setup was very helpful and corrected my problem, but having to return there delayed the start of my trip by at least an hour, and the problem would have been much easier for them to fix if it had been identified when I first picked up the trailer.

The windshield of my rental was littered with bugs and because they were dry the washer fluid did not work trying to clean them. Vehicle should have been washed on the exterior cab.

The way u-haul manages the fuel gauge is to subjective. I am sure you make millions of dollars a year screwing customers on fuel charges. I don't like how insurance fees are jammed down my throat. I will call your competition the next time I need a moving truck.

I rented a pickup. It was very clean, and actually, nearly new. It handled well, had lots of bed tiedown points, and was easy to load/unload. I was pleased that I could pick up and return a rental on Sunday, and on short notice (I made the reservation on Friday), and the agent I worked with did his best to minimize my charges. Overall a good experience, and I would repeat as necessary.

I had hitch installed. Was given totally bad information as to price and time needed. After I left found out that somehow they had messed with the brake sensor that unlocks my transmission. Had to use the manual unlock for the treip and now have to pay a transmission shop to fix. Cannot take it back cause I am 2000 miles away. The general manager there is not compenent to manage a hot dog stand

Van had been sitting under a light pole (looks like several days) and had large amount of bird poo baked on the wind shield and side window. Wish the guy that pulled it out for me would have offered to wash it. I pointed this out to him and he said at least the inside is clean, and walked off. Just a thought.

Staff was helpful, location was well stocked. Would have loved to have been told that it was cheaper to do round trip vs one way. We did all the paperwok, then discussed that, and then re-did the paperwork. Small thing.

More customer service presence. Not have to look and ask for assistance when they have been seeing me walk around the lot looking for help or an employee. And having the customer service desk unattended not once but both times I visited the office. And to have more knowledgable and more experienced staff assisting, especially when it comes to dealing with equipment that needs to assure right and proper set ups for the safely of the roads.
