i was never contacted about my reservation, so 24hours before my move I began calling. The location did not have working phone lines all weekend so I contacted the national number. I was told to call two different 866 numbers to get a truck assigned to my reservation (despite that I had the reservation for three weeks prior) and both of the national numbers were out of service! After finally getting a truck and moving, when I returned it they attempted to charge me for 61 miles of travel rather than my 16 that I actually went. Very frustrating, complete chaos of a system and not worth it in the future.

Recorded pick-up time was not accurate- it was in the computer for 5:30pm but the store closed at 5pm. We were told that a change in destination location would cost double the daily rate. When we went to the deteation they said it would cost an additional 500+. We regret that we did not have U-haul put all their agreements in writing.

Alvin was excellent! He made my pick up and drop off experience seamless. Despite the hectic environment,due to moving season, Alvin was very professional and made me first like an important client. I would suggest better signage for customer parking.

The only problem I had was trying to contact the local U-Haul by phone. I never could because the answering system said there were problems and to call back later. I had to use the 800 number.The number I tried to call is 850-576-1159. Other than that everything was fine.

I have rented to vehicles this month this weekend a cargo van. When we went in Saturday the young man found us a van and was very professional and helpful although his name wasn't Travis which is what the invoice shows. When we went in Sunday morning to return the van I was told to park in a space because they were really busy by Travis and then was screamed at by a young black male for parking there but the real issue was from the so called General Manager this morning who when asked how to give me my $45.00 in cash back which is how I paid $100.00 he said you can't get a van by paying cash, and when I showed him my receipt that clearly said cash payment and I said I paid wit cash he said there was no way and it was impossible. So he basically called me his customer a liar. He is always the dirtiest and his beard is not even trimmed and he chose's who he waits on mostly females. But anyway I'm not a liar I am the Governor of the Tallahassee Moose Lodge with about a thousand members who will find some where else to rent.

There was a mix up with my drop off location, my reservation online did not match with what was in the computer system. The person who checked me out did not confirm the drop off location, which I had always intended to be in Atlanta, so I got a phone call saying that I never returned my trailer. I did, to a location they were unaware of.

The truck I ordered was not available. I had to return a few hours later and get the biggest truck. However, I was charged the price for the small truck. They need to make sure they have adequate inventory available.

I first want to say that I had to make five phone calls to local Uhaul stores and one to corporate to attempt to have my reservation honored in the fashion in which I had agreed. After confirming my time and location with THREE separate Uhaul employees, the time and place of my rental changed less than 24 hours before my scheduled pick up. I received two confirmation emails for the pickup that I chose but ir was changed the afternoon before to a much later time and a much MUCH farther location. Uhaul ultimately could not honor my original reservation. Four Uhaul employees separately told me that this is how it works some times. I had to demand reimbursement for the mileage difference in drop off locations of which one employee did not find warranted but the store ended up honoring it upon return. Every employee except that one was very polite and helpful, but ultimately the reaervation I made was no honored. Because my first Uhaul experience we so stressful and frustrating, I will be les likely to use this service in the future.

I was very disappointed with the customer service on the telephone - no phone support -I asked live chat to have a supervisor called me and the live chat and ende I asked live chat to have a supervisor called me and the live chat and ended- at this point I don't think I'll ever use the services of you all again- pick up and drop off locations are great everything else was a very horrible and stressful experience

I reserved a 10'x10' truck 20 days in advance for a different location with a "will call for time" notice. The day before my reservation, I missed a call from U-Haul saying to call 866-723-3056 to confirm my reservation. This number is disconnected. So the day of my reservation, I called a 1-800 number from the U-Haul website (1-800-789-3638). I was put on hold for 20 minutes, then it rang a few times and a recorded message answered and said "We will be closed until December 26, have a Merry Christmas!" Then I called the location of the reservation (85-574-4604, 420 Nina Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32304) during their business hours and received no answer but left a message explaining the situation. So I went to the location this survey is regarding to sort things out. They, reimbursed me for the reservation guarantee and helped me get a truck quickly and efficiently. The previous location (420 Nina Rd) called me around 6pm to notify me that they had a truck available for me at that time. I had already finished moving however and everything worked out. To improve the situation for your next customer, please look into your confirmation procedure, especially with the location at 420 Nina Rd and other smaller ones like it. Additionally, please confirm phone numbers before you give them to customers, especially those that are listed on your website. Overall, I didn't have a particularly bad experience, just a little strange and inconvenient in it's entirety. The location of my transaction was very accommodating and I could tell they were all working very hard and on their A-game that day.

I was very disappointed at first when I arrived early to make sure I had my Uhaul on time and the store wasn't open at 7:00@m but overall the associate that assisted me was very great he provided premier service to me.
