Corporate u haul called me the day of my trailer rental telling me the trailer I had a reservation for wasn't available. So I had no choice but to get the smaller trailer. Corporate quoted me a lesser rate due to my inconvenience. When I arrived at the u haul rental center the manager on duty won't honor corporates lower rate! I had no choice but to pay and now I have to fight to get my money back. Very disappointed!

Truck had empty water bottles tucked under the seats. Trash from previous renter in cargo area. Location is purposely not puting green zip ties on dollies so they can charge a customer for dolly use even if it was not used, as was my case. The store will then lie to your face insisting that it always has the zip tie. $7 for a service I dod not use. And when you call the store, it is impossible to actually get a hold of anyone at the store. You can only reach a central call center or someone working from home. This store knows you have to come back in to fight the charge that is your word against theirs. $7 isnt worth it for most people, so they get away with it.

When I called to make a reservation for a dolly it took probably 40 minutes...The lady on the phone may have been from a corporate location, but she took a long time to find out each type of dolly and needed a lot of info. By the time we finished the phone call I had driven to the store and was in the parking lot (she also couldn't pronounce the cross streets of the store). Not sure if I would use the reservation phone system again because it took so long. Other than that the store manager Brad Ford was super nice!

When checking out a truck, make sure the customer knows how to operate head-lights, door to back-of truck with latch, knows about ramp length, how to set /release parking brake and that if a customer unfastens blankets and dolly, that he/she has to pay for their usage. The guy who waited on me pulled truck up for me to take it, but yelled across parking lot that I should be good to go and went to help other customers.

The morning manager is a remarkable man, very patient with me. I'm most grateful because I'm 82 and needed his patience. Although he was alone at the store and very busy, he came outside to help me with no sign of his being inconvenienced.

This location was ok, but my original Reservation was for the Tempe Town Lake Location (Order #21059814) on April 7th, reserving for 10am April 11th. I was called 30min before pickup that they would not have the truck, and they moved it to the 965 University Dr, then finally the 800 N McClintock location as it was closer, all with in 30mins of pick up. I was told I'd get $50 as they were not able to provide for my reservation. They said I had to call U-Hall to receive it. 3-4 Phone calls, almost 2 months, I still have not received the $50. Last call was May 26th, Reference #836845. Everytime, they said I'd see the refund on my credit card in 2-3 business days. I even asked for a transcript of the phone call this last time, have not received that either. Definitely the last time I'll use U-Haul.

I was contacted 2 separate times by uhaul telling me the equipment i reserved was not available for the times I requested and moved my reservation to another location. I originally reserved at the Scottsdale/thomas location. I want to be credited $50 to my card per your guarantee on your website.
