Better trailers that are fit for today's highways, the trailer I had was an antique, putting lipstick on a pig doesn't change anything, it's still a pig. The rental area was rundown out dated. Looks the same as it did 40 years ago, just added computers doesn't make it look updated.

Have personnel available to help attach and unattach the trailer to the vehicle. My husband had to lift the trailer onto his Jeep Cherokee by himself and now his back is out. I would not recommend if someone was renting a trailer because of this.

I reserved a pickup truck more than 24 hours in advance(directly from the store not the 800 number). I was at the location on a sunday morning to pick up truck as scheduled to find that there was only one person working at the location and 8 customers in front of me. I waited over an hour & 40 minutes for my turn at the counter, to then be told the total charges would be $10 more than I had been quoted. When I mentioned this to the U-Haul employee, I was told "was it me?" I answered no, and he then said "well, I don't have to honor the price then. You can call corporate to complain; but it won't matter. U-Hauls a big company and they just don't care." If ten customers are reserved for 9:00am on Sunday, why not have more than one person working at 9 on Sunday? Perhaps send the one employee to customer training. It's NOT apropriate for a U-haul employee to anounce to a line of already fustrated cumstomers, that he's contacted his superviser, and when she's done having breakfast she'll call and see if he's still busy. He even went as far as to offer all of us customers his supervisors cell number, so we could each call her.

I want to make it perfectly clear that this shop is the only reason I continued my rental with Uhaul and will only recommend this shop to anyone else in the future. If I need rental vehicles in the future this will be the only place I will bring my business to. Bill Fuller was monumental in getting our truck problems resolved and us safely back on the road. Gary the shop foreman if I remember correctly had our truck fixed in an hour and a half once they figured out the problem and what needed to be repaired. The story goes like this. Our trip was substantially delayed due to a problem with our truck and the extremely slow road side service we received. A 2.5 hour wait for a service tech to get to us on the road who was really not able to fix anything anyway. After an hour with him and a few more miles up the mountain for the problem to show up again after the vehicle had completely cooled down from the wait. He determined the vehicle was unsafe to continue and they would have to tow us to a service station. Several phone calls and another 2.5 hours until the tow truck got to us we still did not understand why things were progressing so slowly and why we had to go back to Denver when Silverthorne was only 17 miles ahead of us. Several more people were involved by now as I tried to speak to supervisors to get answers and was not successful. As it turned out another 3 hours to get back to the York St service facility was in fact the best thing that happened. We were very frustrated with the situation and now an entire day was pretty much waisted. The move was 30 miles behind its starting point and a full day in time. Along with a day of work lost due to the delays as well. Another 2 hours of inspections problem diagnosing and several more phone calls to customer service trying to make a new plan or attempt to fix this one. Bill Fuller was getting bits and pieces of the problems and sensing our frustration. He was putting the pieces of the puzzle together to get the real magnitude of the problem. The shop guys were working on the truck to get it and us back on the road as quick as possible. Once Bill got the story and how long we had been dealing with this and the number of different people involved he took control to get the truck problem resolved. As it turned out we also needed to re distribute the weight in our truck and actually added another truck to the mix so we could travel to our destiny in Utah with out risking any safety issues or problems from happening again. For that we are greatly appreciative. At that point it was too late for us to start our move to Utah that same night. The next day we started our trip early in the am and made it to our destination safe and sound with no problems along the way! I know this is specifically because of The York St shop taking the time to help us, educate us and do what was the best thing for all parties involved for a safe uneventful move to Utah. Again for this we are truly grateful and th

I'm really not positive I wanted a refund and this person the manager couldn't give me one. I have to wait for the other location to offer a refund because your company doesn't want this location to suffer the return? Uhaul is uhaul I don't care what location this affects as a customer I just want service and there too many competitors and social media to advertise complaints and get better service. I have over 4000 people on face book and over 5000 on LinkedIn don't think I will not waste a minute letting everyone know just how bad this last rental was.

It took a while to get the truck to us, because the manager had assigned us a truck that was parked behind two other trucks, which meant the poor attendant guy had to move all three trucks before we could get ours. I don't know if it was just that day, but that seemed a bit ridiculous. Everyone was very courteous though, at least.

Short guy at the store was the most unprofessional employee I've ever seen, he was swearing in front of us. Then the lady said they would help us with our car to get it on dolly, but didn't then said he was going to charge us. Hopefully the last time I ever have to use your service

Few things are more valuable to a weary traveler than patience, understanding and a little assistance. That is exactly what U-Haul provided me during my trip. From the departure location, to the storage location to the drop-off location, from the office staff to the lot staff to the customer service staff on the phone, everyone went out of their way to make this a great experience. Couldn't imagine my trip having gone any better. Thanks U-haul.

I was told by UHaul there were no locations in Boulder, CO that would take my Uhaul. I was then told I had to drive 20-30 minutes away to return. When I arrived at the Uhaul facility I was told to go to, that facility told me that would not take the Uhaul. I then had to find another facility to take it. Not very happy.

Absolute worst customer service experience we've ever had. When returning the uhaul truck, we proceeded to wait 30 minutes before seeing anyone actually in the place then another hour until actually being served. The people in front of us waited two hours, and 6 or 7 other people left during the wait. Will never rent from there again, will most likely never use uhaul again. Home Depot may be more for their truck rental but I can at least count on their service.

It's awfully hard getting equipment checked in and checked out. I easily spend an hour or more doing this and I've rented from U-haul on other occasions. Can't something be done differently?

The location wasn't the easiest place to find. I Used it because it was the closest one to our destination for our use of the trailer.

This location billed our credit card an extra $85 3 days after we dropped off the truck without even telling us. We received a receipt via email with no explanation as to what the charge was for. I have left 2 messages trying to get someone to explain to me why after being rented a truck that was not safe to drive we would then be billed an extra $90, but have still not received a return call.

This place is terrible I just found out tonight through an email that I've been charged for 5 days renting a 20' truck.. But I dropped the truck off on the 15th and they charged me to the 20th terrible terrible.. I don't think I'll ever use Uhaul again.. I mean this is outrageous... How in the hell does this happen? Big mistake.

Wrong truck. Right truck wasn't available... Oh wait there it is! No moving pads or dolly, they were in the wrong truck. And when you get your bill, please notice that we charged you $1200. for mileage on a 4 hour rental because we put down the beginning mileage from the wrong truck. Plus being charged for those pads and dolly. It still isn't straightened out and they do not seem to care.
