The truck smelled terribly of marijuana in the cargo area of the 17'er. It was clean but it made some of my belongings inherit that stench. Truck cab did not smell and truck ran well overall. Good experience, just thought I should mention that.

They need to Follow through with new employees to insure all Lights are working at the time of rental. I left at 04:30 hrs and drove south, discovered my trailer lights were not working. Had to drive from Tigard to Roseberg, OR to find a U-Haul Dealer that could fix it! I believe his name was Dan, from your location at 1182 NE Stephens St., Roseburd, Or. He Rocks! Best U-Haul Guy ever! anyway he made all lights good and I was on my way!!

Receiving clerk was curt and rude, which was very unnecessary, because I checked-in several days in advance, and was very cheerful and pleasant. Additionally, she told me I could only have the truck until 1:00pm, and I truly needed it until about 3:30. This surprised me, and again, she was rude about that, too.

Everyone was friendly fast and helpful. I like that when I returned the equipment I didn't even need to enter the store. The return and charges were all taken care of with a hand held device and emailed the information and payment receipt in just a few moments. Thanks U-haul.

The wait for getting the equipment was very long. We waited in line for 15 mins to be told that we need to get the reserved trailer hooked up first then come back inside to finish paperwork. Once trailer was hooked up I waited in line another 25mins to finish paperwork. We were there over an hour to pickup a trailer rental. The staff was friendly but not enough people trained on computer system to help the volume of customers on a sat afternoon. There was 15 people in line at one point.

Although I had checked in for the express checkout, there wasn't any opportunity to to pick-up and go other than waiting in the line for about 30 minutes - would be helpful to have a separate lane especially during peak periods

Next time try sending me to the location I asked for a month in advance. I called a month early and reserved a truck from the TV Highway location in Beaverton, OR. I called the day of and was told I had to go to Tigard, which is much farther from us. This added time (and mileage, encroaching on your imposed mileage limit that I'm going to complain about if you charge me for it) was an inconvenience and an added cost. Where I come from, "reserve" means that I have the thing I'm reserving when I arrive the day of. So when the lady on the phone says that the TV Highway location is their "busiest," what does that mean to me? I "reserved" a truck at that location a month in advance. That means if someone shows up to rent a truck, and MY truck is the only one left, that you tell that customer, "sorry, we don't have any of that size." This is a pretty simple concept.
