The trucks should come with a full tank of gas. The truck I rented had 5/8 of a tank with instruction on how many gallons it would take to get back to 5/8 of a tank. It would be a lot easier for your customer to pick up a truck with a full tank of gas an instructed to bring it back with a full tank of gas.

was quoted 29.95 for a 24 ft truck---was given a 26 ft truck and charged 39.95--never noticed till i got the bill--had to wait before being waited on for pick up and drop off

Manager needs better pass it I've attitude when attending their customers very rude, CSR jr. Attended me very well and was very polite when I explain my situation with the moving I had and he took it very personal when I told him I received a dirty truck he explained to me that would never happen on his watch, he apologize on behalf of his workplacel and thank you for cleaning out the truck sorry for the mess.

On Nov 25th I ordered a pickup truck with a car trailer to move a corvette I bought, approximately 230 miles round trip. My contract was for the extended miles rate on the truck. When I received your confirmation email on Nov 26th it was for a 10 ft cargo van at a higher rate. I called your service number, 1-800-468-4285 and brought this mistake to the attention of your rep. She supposedly corrected it and repeated back to me that I again had the extended mileage rate on a pickup truck with the car trailer, and that she would send a new contract verification. However, she never sent the new verification. Today, Nov 29th, when I showed up for the vehicle and trailer at your Tonawanda office I was told that "Uhaul policy is that we do not allow customers to use pickup trucks to pull car trailers as too many have been stolen. You have to take the cargo van at a higher rate". ( As I am both a retired Lieutenant Colonel in Special Forces and a Registered Nurse at Buffalo's only Trauma Center, I take offense not only to being lied to but also being categorized as a possible thief). Well that rate had jumped to $.99 a mile straight rate!! Your "owner" at the Tonawanda facility also told me "don't worry, if you have a military ID we can give you a better rate when you return". But he could not tell me what the rate would be. So when I returned the vehicle after completing movement of my car, my bill ended up being $362! The only comment by your lone employee was "hey man, sorry we jerked you around but you know how things go". I responded, "no, that's not how things go, I think that is BS that you changed my contract on me and charged me so much more". He could only respond "well sorry man but I'm all alone here today and its busy so I can't help you, we'll let you know what your final bill is later, I can't do it now", and he walked away. This is ridiculous! You and your paid representatives have purposely misrepresented your services, You purposely changed my contract to a much higher rate. You forced me to accept a more expensive vehicle to tow my car while several of the pickups in the lot had tow hitches on them. When I looked in the lot upon my arrival there were 2 Ford pickups with trailer hitches sitting in front of the building. The cargo van is a huge block with much more wind resistance, thus requiring more gas to move the same distance as a pickup. It took an entire tank of gas to travel 240 miles. Your representatives in Tonawanda charged me the highest rate they could and would not review my contract upon my return. When I initially looked into doing this rental I spoke to rep's at your Military Road office in Niagara Falls, I used your online reservation service and I spoke verbally to a rep at your service phone number and all 3 verified that I would qualify for the extended mileage rate. But these individuals at the Tonawanda facility would not even listen to my questions about that rate. Upon my arrival it was a take it or leav

I would suggest that when a person calls to rent a truck for moving furnature and appliances that you inform them them that the truck does not have a loading ramp. It turns a one or two person job in to more! Thank you,

I stopped in late Friday to reserve a cargo van for the following day - it took your employee about 45 seconds to do that for me and send an e-mail. I went in Saturday to pick-up the van. Again, wonderful customer service! Picking it up took 2 minutes, returning it - about the same. Fantastic customer service - - and although my move is complete I'll be going back to purchase packing sleeves to store my seasonal china in!

I called and reserved a 10ft truck, the reservation was confirmed. When I went at my scheduled pick up time there was not a 10ft truck there was only a 14ft truck, I had no choice but to pay the difference for the larger truck that I did not originally plan to pay for. Other than that mix up that cost me the extra cash the location and process was great and easy.

The morning of pick up was very busy, I was there for a dolly. The computer system was giving associates problems but thru it all they managed to keep a sense of humor and light heartedness. I work in retail and know what they were going through, they are to be commended for keeping things moving and smiling!

The truck was towed to this location for repair. We received another auto transport from this location. Our equipment drop off point was in Whittier, Ca. After the breakdown we had to leave the first AT in Cuba, NY. The original AT was wider and the second one rubbed the sidewalls of my tires and two new tires I purchased last week are ruined. I asked for the "H" model and was given the "E"? ...again...listen when the customer has an issue with equipment before sending them on their way...

to charge .59 per mile and then tell costomer to put gas in to were it was??? is just not right! and actually no credit cause more gas was put in about a gallon more than should of and we dont get credit for that???? then a 1 dollar enviroment charge really... thanks gene lafaro

I rent it from 9 am to 3 pm and when I get there at 9am they told me that was a 7 and I have to return it at 12 p.m. That was a lie. I showed the guy they reservation we the time and he say I don't know what they do that, because they know it supposed to be a 7 to 12. the bottom line is I lost 2 hours and I have to pay the same amount!
