Pick up location should be as close as possible to your customer. (I was asked the address that the move was from; why not use it to schedule pick-ups)
I was given a location to pick up on Bathurst, good thing I did go on line and notice a location at 2185 Gerrard that's at Main Street so I requested that location instead of all the way to Bathurst.
To my surprise I notice an even closer location at Gerrard & Victoria Park (2356 Gerrard). This was after I pick the van up.. that was really upsetting ...why make your customers put in unnecessary KM only is it just for a company benefit or you would like to please your customers.
Would be nice to be able to purchase product if need be at the location

placed order three months in advance with the preferred Toronto pick up location, which was closer to our move; however, we rec'd call from U-haul 1-800 afternoon before move and she gave us different location and afternoon pick up when we had reserved a.m. pick up. It all worked out in the end but added more stress and frustration, which we certainly did not need.

I didn't have choice about this location: U-Haul told me to pickup the trailer here. It was very far from my moving location. I had booked an enclosed 4x6 trailer. The trailer that was available when I got to this location,was an enclosed 6x12 trailer. I am lucky my vehicle could haul this bigger size.

Pickup location was changed 48 hours before the reservation date; although the reservation was made weeks in advance.
My rental was not ready at the pickup time.
The gas level was not correct; this had to be noted with the representative prior to use (to try to help ensure proper charges were placed).
Upon returning, gas was paid for with cash, and then an additional fee was placed on the credit card.
Truck was not properly inspected prior to our rental.

I made a reservation for 7pm, the man who handles the rentals wasn't there when we arrived, his coworker called him and told him we were waiting, and he ended up getting there at 8:30. After leaving us waiting for an hour and a half, he had no apology or explanation, his only excuse being that he didn't check to see if there were any reservations that night. Our whole trip was less than 10k, and we returned the van in perfect condition in less than 2 hours, yet looking at my credit card statement I see he charged me an additional unexplained $57. I called customer service and they said they don't understand where this 2nd charge came from and they're investigating it now. The guy's a lazy, rude crook and I wish I'd read the other reviews before wasting time and money here.

Terrible service!!, the guys working there don't check out properly the gas and I put 10 CAD of gas before to bring the Van back to the place. Now you are charging me 30CAD + 9CAD (again) for 3 Liters of gas!!!..(7 Km). I am not going to use never your service again.
When I brought the Van back to the place I asked to the guy in service to come to check the Van conditions..... the guy was always talking on the phone and He just made a gesture with his hand indicating me to leave...!
You charge me the gas again and additionally give me a penalty of 30 CAD....

Clean your vehicle windshield from the inside please - hire some staff - waited for mohammad to pump gas and then start an oil change on another vehicle before he checked me out one guy doing three jobs be prepared to wait

Advertising as 19.95 $ but obtaining a lot. Worst service and completly not satisfied with the service. I would not choose U-haul again and I wont recommend to my friends. I regret badly.

When I called tor reserve the truck they wouldnt take a reservation as they seemed to be in a rush to get me off the phone. I picked up the cube van, the brakes were shot, the back was messy, the moving blankets were thrown all about. I got charged a cleaning fee even though it was dirty when I picked it up. Your workers should expect to sweep the van as part of their job I didnt leave ANY garbage behind and I got charged $25. The fuel was filled maybe a millimimeter below the line and I got charged a fuel refill. I will accept this, but at this point I feel they are just trying ways to add extra charges. I will not be renting or recommending this location to anyone ever again.

my key didnt fit into the drop off door. It was a huge pain in the ass to get it in. Other than that, location was handy and vehicle was very clean and brakes were in very good condition, so you could tell proper maintenance was being done.

was over charged by a day even thought the invoice stated it was only 2 day rental. Was troubled to follow up.
Picking up the trailer was a hassle and returning it was a hassle for easy of location.
Huge hole in parking lot - open sewer grate right where trucks and trailers parked. If truck wheel would have enter the hole, plenty of damaged caused. No marker indicating the hole.

The man seemed to want more money from us upon the return of the truck. The gas was where it was when we picked the truck up and he wanted us to fill it with gas upon our return. Other than that the experience was average

fire doug and Mohammed. it was so bad I remembered names. Mo was at school when we should up to meet him on time. after rushing to the store. waiting an hour. fire him and send doug to customer relations. he was gross
