I was disappointed that when I made the reservation, I was told I could pick it up at Construction Circle, then I found it that it would be At El Camino. That costed me and extra $12 because of the extra miles. I am not happy about having to pay the extra unexpected charges.

We felt rushed when picking up the truck. So when the truck pulled forward, we didn't get a chance to look inside the truck bed nor were we offered. When we went to move there was drywall, gravel and stone was everywhere. Had to spend extra time cleaning before my furniture went into the truck.

HORRIBLE customer service. GENERAL MANAGER hung up when we called to complain. Terrible accommodations. Had us drive an extra 70 MILES because of their lack of inventory after we made a reservation prior with NO compensation from it. A reservation in their eyes is simply letting them know someone is coming in to rent something. It is NO confirmation that you are getting what you reserved. There is no point in even making a reservation. As well as giving us a larger truck at "no extra charge" when the larger truck gets worse gas mileage, having us spend even more money on gasoline and we didn't even need that truck. We had a horrible, horrible experience with uhaul and never intend to do business with them again and never recommend to anyone. They would rather keep the "pocket change" (to them), and lose customers, than to have a satisfied customer.

The truck reserved for my use had been given to another customer. The truck I was given to use had 1/2 of a tank of gas, and the check engine light was on when the U-Haul associate backed it out for me to drive away, however he never questioned that. Because I didn't feel comfortable driving from California to Texas with the check engine light on, I had to go back inside the store and a new contract was initiated, and the truck I was given to drive only had 1/4 of a tank of gas which meant I had to get gas immediately. The truck did not have cruise control which made driving for a long period of time extremely painful, and the truck has electronic issues and thinks the driver's and passenger doors are open. The U-Haul associate who attached the auto-transport to my truck did not do it correctly, and my car came loose on the transport in the middle of the desert, which required me to contact emergency road-side assistance who walked me through re-attaching my car to the transport, then then told me to drive 20 minutes on the freeway to an authorized U-Haul store to have the attachments checked, which I didn't feel comfortable doing, so I had to call back and tell them they needed to send someone to me that was trained to attach my car to the auto-transport. All of this delay cost me almost 3 hours of driving time which made it so I was unable to keep my pre-planned schedule, and that required me to secure an extra day hotel accommodations, and put me one day behind reaching my final destination. Renting from U-Haul was not a very good experience for me, and I will not use them ever again!

Very Ruse and non-customer service oriented manger (Isabel) who in one example asked me a question and while I was answering spoke to an employee. When I commented that this was unprofessional behavior, she said she was "multi-tasking". Amazing that one would ask a question, not pause and ask for a moment, and claim that she is listening while talking to someone else. Simply poor communication and poor poor service. Overall, a poor experience. I have screen shots of my truck confirmed at one location (Alton Pkwy) when I scheduled online only to find out that the reservation was listed for Tustin. Tustin location was where I had my service issues. I'd like to see whether UHaul will home their $50 discount commitment for not having the truck ready at the confirmed location. I'm going with Penske next time...certainly not UHaul Tustin!

We purchased a hitch and ball and it was installed upside down (this was pointed out at drop off location). The trailer was tilted down in the front. I could not correct the problem because the movers loaded too much weight in front of trailer ("Load trailer heavier in the front" was written in bold on the 2nd page of the haul contract). There was so much weight on the tongue that I could not pick it up to correct the problem. The tailer was unsteady during our 400 mile trip.

Truck ignition got jammed on numerous occasions. Please pay attention to small details that may be okay for an experienced renter/driver but will be hard to over come for ordinary people.

The location was understaffed. It took over almost an hour to make it to the front of the line. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, especially the manager, who did not seem to care about any of the customers ahead of me, or after me.

Truck was very dirty . First truck they assigned me , they stopped me before i got out of the yard and said i took the wrong truck. It was the truck they gave me the key for . On too truck # 2 got in to it pulled forward and ran out of gas . Onto # 3 got into it and just made the gas station on the corner where i put 70.00 worth of gas into to start my day at which time i was already paying 3 men to wait on me to take a shipment off my truck that i had hauled across the country from N.Y .to deliver to Beverly Hills . NBeedless to say my costomer was not happy because i had advised them we would be there long before we arrived . Hence forth i told dispatch at Alexanders Mobility Service about my ordeal and let them know i would not use their facility the following week shuttle a load back to my trailer for transportation back to N.Y. And i will never use this facilit again and have advised my fellow drivers the same . The trucks at this facility where all filthy . I run for Atlas Van Lines and will look either for Ryder or Penske in the future . Home # 570-685-7943

There is pretty much no parking for coming to pick up a vehicle and the lines were a little long getting in and out. I had to just drop off my receipt when dropping off my vehicle because the line was so long and the admin was also on the phone with a customer.

I waited one hour to pick up the car ( I did schedule the pick up time) and I was late for work. The car was clean and in a good condition, and I made it to SF. This location could improve the customer service skills!

it was a 24 hr drop off. Did not really deal with staff since they were closed. Only issue is that they charged me additional $$ for gas when I left the truck with more gas than i picked it up with. They said that the gas was less than half the tank. Very disappointed that they took additional gas charges from my account.

When I arrived at this location, the parking was a nightmare. After finally finding a spot to park, I went inside to learn that their internet was down. Not the employees' fault, but the way they handled it could have been better. About halfway through my transaction, the computers came back up, but at this point they were just rushing through my order just to get to all the other customers in line (which had grown substantially by the time I was being helped). I wanted to purchase the insurance plan, but it was never offered to me. After finishing my paperwork and rushing me out the door, I waited in line in the back for the equipment pick-up. I actually felt bad for the guy back there because there was only 1 attendant and he had to help the long line of people with their equipment pick-ups AND the growing line of cars/trucks with their equipment returns. When it was finally my turn, they wheeled over the oldest, dingiest looking trailer they had. I was especially upset because I made the reservation over a month in advance. I didn't have time to argue, though because I was already running late to start packing. The guy then proceeded to break the towing connection cover off the back of my grandpas truck, gave it to me and said "sorry," then ran off to help the next in line. He didn't even give me my rental agreement paperwork back, I had to come back and get it myself. For what should have been a 30 minute job I was there for over 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Terrible check-in experience, long lines, rude workers. The A/C in the rental didn't even work, but didn't get a discount or anything. Returning the Uhaul was a hassle. Just worse uhaul location I've ever dealt with. NEVER again.
