Poor customer service. The information on the contract I was given was incorrect and did not match the online quote. Truck was on empty and I ended up losing money returning the truck with a 1/4 tank of gas. Truck had graffiti on the sides and trash in the back. Managers customer service stills were poor at best.

This was not my 1st experience with this UHaul location. All of my experiences have been kept simple, positive and economical. The staff is friendly and very helpful when making reservations on-line. They have helped me to keep the cost at the lowest possible rate and still provided me with excellent service !! Thank you very much......I will be back.

I have always rented from U-haul with great results except for this last time. Had nothing but problems with the truck which caused us time delays. It ran so bad when I took it back that I was afraid to stop and put the required amount of gas back in it which wasn't much at all. So I took it back and now they want to charge me seventy dollars and give me no comp for all the trouble I went through! Not to sure if I will ever rent from them again? I just feel they should be alitte more understanding. I really don't feel that those charges by taking them off my bill will break the company!I'm really hoping they work with me on this matter?I will see if they are as loyal to their customers as they claim to be?

Location seems to be well stocked. The guy who processed my reservation really helped me get exactly what I needed. My reserved truck was ready to go and in great condition at the right time. Return was quick. Will use this location again.

U Haul did not accurately book my appointment. On Friday I spoke to Lois and I told her I needed a 10:00am Saturday appointment. But because I needed a pick up truck she routed me to the location in Ventura on Thompson. She set it up at 8:00am and did not tell me, and it was not in the confirmation email but in the confirmation # link only. I did not see the time change..
I ended up with no truck because they told me I was late when I showed at 9:45am. The clerk Todd did what he could but it didn't work out so I rented the appliance dolly and made other plans for a truck. This was a huge inconvenience and Todd did whatever he could. If it were not for him I would never rent U-Haul again.
U-Haul should credit customers (me) for this and acknowledge employees like Todd.

I rented the largest size truck (26') for an inner city move. When the representative pulled the truck around, it was obviously an old, beaten up truck from the outside. It had many dings, scratches, scraps and obvious damage. When I asked for a newer truck as there were plenty on the lot and no one else in line, he explained that the newer models are reserved for one-way longer trips and the older ones are used for the inner-city moves. I signed the contract and got inside the truck. Simply put, it was in such a state of disrepair that it was down-right dangerous. The driver's door rattled as it would not shut properly. The dashboard bounced up and down while driving on smooth city streets. The power brakes and hydraulics made such an audible sound that I questioned whether there was sufficient fluid for braking. When I returned the truck, I explained the problems to the representative. He agreed that the truck was too old still be in use but he has no control on which trucks they keep in their fleet. U-Haul is assuming a huge liability with these older trucks. Squeezing a few last miles out of a truck that is unsafe is not good business, it is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

My entire experience today was outstanding. I was placed in an urgent situation and from phone reservation, pick up and return, This location has been the fastest service I have ever had. This experience was so great that my only recommendation would be to teach some other locations their secret. Last time I used one under my name was in Stockton, Ca. they could use some help with their promptness, which in turn will help their customers become more satisfied. Thank You for being their when I need you.

The mileage on my contract was different from what was on the odometer.
The gas indicator did not match the actual gas in the vehicle.
I actually drove the vehicle approximately 70 miles, but when my final bill was created I was charged for over 290 miles.
I had to go to the vehicle and manually write down the mileage and then it had to be recalculated by two employees before they fixed it.
Surprising and inconvenient.

I ordered a Motorcycle trailer and was given a ramp trailer. The confirmation the day before my expected pick up, did not tell me that my motorcycle trailer I had asked to rent would be under repair or not available. Will not be using U-Haul for further assistance.
