Joanne has no customer service skills at all and should not be allowed to talk to customers. I dropped off my uhaul last night. However, this site has no designated drop off location on the premises. Luckily, when I was dropping off my uhaul another customer was too. They actually received a courtesy phone call from community mini storage to be informed where to drop their uhaul off after hours, I never received a phone call with this information. I called uhaul last night to inform them where the truck was left. Today I receive a phone call from Joanne to let me know she cannot locate the uhaul truck I rented. She said the information I have of the trucks location was not helpful. She then went on to say she tried calling me multiple times this week to inform me of where to drop off the uhaul if it was after hours. I never received any calls and she argued with me. It is extremely unprofessional to raise your voice to a customer! As I was on the phone with uhaul customer service, I was informed that the truck I rented was just checked in. I did receive a phone call while on the phone with uhaul customer service from community mini storage, however, no voicemail was left to let me know the truck was located and checked in. Horrible customer experience! Uhaul renter beware! Never rent from community mini storage in Wareham!

I was charged $11 fir insurance for this 2 hour rental. The first notice I had of this charge was when I returned the vehicle and cashed out. I explained that I already had auto coverage which covered this rental and a credit card which also covered this. I was told that this was a company wide policy. I told the clerk that tbis was not true as I rented the same vehicle at the Taunton Ma store with no such charge. Will not rent again

They should have the actual sized truck that was guaranteed to be available. If it's not, then let the customer know upfront and then don't charge them for the larger truck. We drove to this location, which was farther away than another because a 26' truck was guaranteed to be available. When we got the truck home and started loading, we noticed the sticker on the inside said 20'! We were already behind because the facility manager arrived late to open up to begin with, so we didn't even bother calling about it. It took us 2 trips instead of 1 to move in town, which caused us to pay more for the use of more miles. Then, we get the bill and are still charged for the larger sized truck! Our reservation clearly stated 26' truck. The customer service at this location was lacking and I may not ever use U-Haul again because of this mixup and them successfully getting away with it. They knew exactly what they were doing when they gave us the wrong sized truck. I don't think they even had a 26' truck there.

Management above average. Very disappointed in uhauls coordination. Was told original pick up was in one place later to find out it was in a different location and different size of truck. U haul needs to improve in this area.

I just want to let you know that if were not for Joanne Murphy getting us a truck at the last minute and actually waiting for us after close time to get it, my husband and I do not know what we would have done. She went over and beyond to help us and moving our son into Boston for law school was great. You are very lucky to have such a dedicated and caring employee as Joanne and we will not hesitate to refer our friends and co-workers to your location because of her great service! I have to say that the staff were extremely pleasant, I new it was not their fault, however the policies on rental are a bit confusing. I rented a uhaul for Saturday Sept. 29 -they were actually were very nice and let me pick up on Friday night, however, when i got there i was told to have it back by 11:00 am the very next morning (I know it was a busy weekend however, I did rent it for SATURDAY day - if i had picked up on Saturday as scheduled that would of left me only 2 to 21/2 hours to move???? I planned accordingly and rented early enough ... FORTUNATELY there was a cancellation I was able to keep for most of day. I think if someone rents a uhaul for the day it should be for the day!

I picked up a cargo van shortly before 3:00 closing time. Transaction started by experienced rep and then turned over midway to new employee. Was told that I could return the vehicle later that evening after facility closed. Left my friend's vehicle in parking lot while using van. When I attempted to return the van, gate surrounding the lot was closed and locked and I was unable to return the van. Also, my friend (who lives out of state) was unable to retrieve his car. We ended up having to drive the van an additional 5 miles to my home and he had to take my vehicle home from Massachusetts to Rhode Island (total 10 extra miles). I then returned the van in the AM and was given a $50 credit which I feel is insufficient as I now must drive my friends car to Rhode Island this evening and retrieve my car. I was also an hour late for work this morning which I had tried to avoid in the first place by arranging to return the van the prior evening. My boss was not happy. I have paid $79.71, which came out of my bank account instantly, and will receive the $50 credit in "5 days or so". I also spent $16.00 on gas for the van which was more than it started out with. When I returned the vehicle the rep said I could either have her manager's phone number or the credit. I chose the credit as I was already late for work and didn't have time to call the manager. I'm feeling very dissatisfied. Feel I should not have been charged at all.
