The truck I rented was fine, the personnel at the location were helpful and friendly. However, I was assured when I reserved the truck that a commercial rate of 39 cents a mile would apply for over 100 miles. When I turned in the truck, I was told that the person who promised me that rate was new, was given in error, and a rate of 79 cents would apply. The employee stated she would bring the matter up to her manager the next day to "see what they could do". I feel that this is certainly unfair if not illegal. I hold no hope of having my bill adjusted, but rest assured I will advise everyone I know to steer clear of the bait and switch at Uhaul.

Disappointed with initial discussion with representative when I called to confirm reservation. I do not have anyone to drop me off to get truck, nor anyone to pick me up when I return it. Asked if I could leave my car. "No! Liability prevents that." I did anyway. And found many other personal cars were parked in their lot too. I will buy my own truck to alleviate having to rent one again, and the inconvenience.

The cost per mile is a little high vs. the daily rental cost and I am not sure I would use for a long round trip again.

The location is run down in appearance and disorganized. The street entrance is odd angled and I was nearly hit as someone backed out. I was called in the morning that the location was out of vans. I had to travel an extra 40 miles. Instead of being dropped off a few miles away my wife had to make the 20 mile trip 4 times to drop me off and pick me up. That was a waste of her day and 80 miles on our car.... not happy :(

Clean the windshield! This is the 2nd time I have rented a truck from this location and both times I had to clean the windshield myself before the move. I had to wait an hour to be waited on because there was only ONE employee to service us on a BUSY Saturday morning. This location is close to my home, and for the most part has everything I need, but they definitely need to be more customer focused and ready to serve!

make another entrance/exit out of the lot. The only way in or out is on Ryan rd and it's very hard , if not impossible to turn left.

Huge line this morning for RESERVATION HOLDERS. Why have reservations if it results in a huge line? I did the express check in the a day or two before but waited in line nearly 40 MINUTES before it was my turn. That's just ridiculous. The Madison Heights location is way better run than 13 and Ryan in Warren and I'll rent there next time or from Penske.

No matter what facility I'm at, it's always slow to get the truck. Check in is easy, but pick up takes a while. I even signed up on-line and entered all of my information.

Return our several phone calls and visits. Even the Manager of the store wouldn't call us back. We are trying to help you understand why we didn't return the trailer, but no one would call us back nor was your computer able to interact w/ Roadside Assistance. Communication is key! Very disappointed and we wanted to rent again before September.

Two Of the gentleman that worked the shift during my U-haul rental were very professional, and would later provide me with excellent service and apologized repeatedly for their co-workers actions, however the service tech that assisted me in the beginning, reeked of the morning or the night before alcoholic beverage and was simply rude. He was very inappropriate and spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner. He made a statement that (I was not to smart if I did not know what button to push) The problem was not me tapping the acceptance button , but simply that the idiot tried to change the rate that the Manager approved for me to pay for the rental, due to a service tech reserving me a truck the day prior that they could not honor. Not to mention, Everyone should read all agreements before signing their names or accepting terms to agreements/contracts. Had I not took the time to read the information he placed on their system. I would have paid a rate that was higher than the manager approved rate.My overall experience at that location have been great, The idiot that worked that morning needs to be be either fired for poor customer service skills, or checked into rehab.....Tammie Johnson

Be sure that fuel tank is truly full before customer pick-up. It was not quite full for me -- line was just below F. I drove a about 5 miles but it cost over $16 to fill the tank back up.

The truck had over 197,000 miles on it and ran rought, hard to start and rode like it had no shocks and the front end sounded like it was going to fall off when you hit bumps in the road. Although you can't be responsible for damaged to furniture, I think the rattling of my stuff could have been minimized had it been a better suspension and less wear and tear of the truck.

Need more help on the weekends. Stood in line for a half hour waiting to pick up a trailer. People working the counter and having to deal with the product on the lot looks like they are confused. If had more help things would run much better.
