The truck was in POOR condition. Hard to start, the shocks were horrible, the cab smelled, the passenger door did not close all the way and rattled bad. The truck was due back at 8pm. I returned it at 7:15 to a location that closed at 7pm. I called customer service to have them note the time I returned it and followed their instructions. I was emailed a receipt that included a 79.00 charge for an extra day, that I am currently waiting for a credit on. The employee was very friendly and professional.

We received the best customer service at this location. I was in customer service for 31 years so when I find OUTSTANDING service I like to give credit where credit is due. Rochelle and I believe the young man's name was Morgan did the right thing and took care of the balance that we didn't know about through a phone call!!!!! It was only $24.00 but it was the principal of it. You might want want to recruit these two to train the Akron location. Again I can not say enough good things about these two employees. Nice, helpful above and beyond, and professional! Thank you Rochelle and Morgan!

The service at this location exceeded my expectations. I recently moved back to this area and have to say that people in this area value their jobs and do them better than many other places I have lived. Great service team Warren.

When I made the reservation, the lady I talked to said the truck I was reserving would be there and that phone call was all I needed to do. About three days before my scheduled date, I got a phone call telling me that they were still looking for the truck I reserved. The day before the move,I get a second phone call telling me they are still looking and that they would call me later that night. I never received a second phone call that night so I assumed that the problem was resolved but when I showed up at the store on the morning of my move,I am told that they don't have any truck for me and that there is nothing they can do. They proceeded to tell me that I would have to contact the local dispatcher or regional person or what ever. I called and got an automated prompt and chose the option for reservations. After waiting on hold for twenty minutes, I finally get to talk to someone and they tell me that they have a 14 foot truck (I reserved a 26 foot truck) that I would be able to use if that would help. I explained to her that it would cost too much in mileage because I would have to make multiple trips. She started looking in the computer and after about the minutes, she hung up the phone without do much as a good bye. She just disconnected and forced me to call back and wait in hold for another 20 minutes. The situation was eventually resolved(albeit with some concessions on the truck size on my part). The entire experience was horrible and caused my move to be longer and start out a lot more aggravating than it should have been. I would not recommend them to my enemies let alone my friends or family.

Customer support phone line was useless . I called the hotline with a few simple questions, the guy on the phone acted annoyed in me having called and never answered my questions. At the end of the call he answered my question by saying "Um okay, sigh" I was then unexpectedly transferred to another rep who was also no help. I am still waiting for my deposit. Besides the locations In store employees, I would not recommend anyone I know to use uhaul.

The pickup of the moving trailer was quick and easy. Handled very well. We even ran in to a bit of problem with the lighting but the technician troubleshot it and had it fixed with in a few minutes. Job well done.

I rented a uhaul to find out that the truck had a inaccurate gas needle. I didn't find this out till I was stranded on the side of the road waited 5 hours for road assist for him to tell me the truck was empty went to the gas station with the roadassit guy and put over 100.00 in the truck for the needle not to move. Then asked him what now. He basicly said it has a floating needle and hoped I got to the drop off point. On top of all this I was late returning the truck due to this and I have been over charged. And they also charged me for having to refill the truck when the needle said 1/2 when I dropped it off but of course they was close due to sitting on the side of the road for almost 5 hours

Since my experience was so good with the employees(great people) about the only thing I could say is that the location of the store in Warren isn't my favorite area , so I dropped the truck off the next day . That's why I gave the location an average mark because the employees were excellent !!!

When a customer books a truck from a certain location, make sure the customer can pick up the truck they want at the location they want. Changing it a few days before the pick up date is not professional.

I initially thought we needed the 10' truck to take my son back to college and bring stuff home, so I reserved it for the truck to be returned to the original location. I only needed it one way, and asked if I could change my reservation to a one way only truck. They informed me all one way only trucks were rented for that day and I had to take the truck initially rented. When I picked up my truck, there were several 10' trucks in the lot, the same amount were present in the morning when we dropped off my husbands car. And again at 2:00 that afternoon when we dropped off the truck. There was a U-Haul location one block from my son in Columbus where we could have returned the truck after moving him in. Instead we had to pay an extra $137 for the mileage rate and an extra $50 for the gas. Our total bill for having the truck less then 24 hours was $313. After talking to several other parents who rented from other locations, their experience was not the same, and they were able to rent a one way rental only.

The air conditioning did not work properly. It was blowing out warm air which made the cab get warmer. It did blow out cool air as we started out but within a few minutes on the road it gradually warmed up and stayed that way.
