I had placed a reservation in the morning with the truck being available at a near by location then someone called me in the after noon stating that the truck is not available and that I would have to go out of my way for a longer distance if I wanted to rent the truck I was not happy the longer distance cost me more money and when complained to a rep she stated this is how we work we don't compensate because we changed the apointment location and it cost you more if you want the truck or cancel the apointment that made me upset and can not recommend it to others.

It looked dirty, didn't have furniture pads I had reserved on the website, the check engine light went on on the way back to the location, and I had to wait about 20 minutes to return the truck because only one person was working.

Upon returning the equipment, extra charges were added that it took way too many phone calls to resolve until I finally got the area field manager who fixed it. The equipment was just fine- the system you have to rent it is extremely frustrating.

I had to wait for 1 hour for service. The employee didnt help me unhook the trailer from my car. I didnt know how to unhook the trailer because the employee from san diego uhaul did everything and hooked up the trailer. So i hurt my back trying to unhook the trailer. I had to ask people standing by to help me unhook the trailer. Now my back hurts from hooking the trailer.

Kevin does a nice job under adverse conditions. On a Saturday morning there should be more customer service associates to assist customers. I have waited up to an hour in line to rent a vehicle. Seems to me, at peak times there should be more staff. Otherwise the experience was satisfactory.

I would not have called this location the most "inviting" and I would probably not go to it again, however, the associate that helped me was very nice and helpful. It's more the area this location is in and the overall appearance that is a turn off.

My experience there was super,,,, truck was ready, pads were loaded, person I dealt with was friendly and polite and the same was true when I returned the vehicle,, person was there checked me in and I was on my way in no time, thanks

They did not have trucks available that many ppl reserved. I had to change the day of my move because of that. They only had one person working on very busy days. More than ten people waiting in line and the one person had to do everything so the wait was way too long. I ordered moving blankets with my truck the poor girl who was the only one working had to go through all the blankets and put them together. That should already be done before the costumer gets there. They knew way before hand. Such a bad experience. I felt bad for the two individuals working there on the three separate occasions I was there. They were awesome but the place is managed badly.

There was a charge of .28 cents that was requested by the clerk. This was never explained and honesty was just happy to leave after a hard hot day of moving. Please assure that the customers are not being ripped off. This can add-up at the end of the day.

My reservation was incorrect – booked online for 9am-7pm, but was required to bring the truck back by 4pm for another customer reservation. This FORCED me to take out a second truck rental from uHaul (smaller vehicle). This sounds like double booking and a SCAM, not what I expected from your company. I paid more over all and I was not the only one with this issue. Shame on your company for putting customers through this at an already stressful time.

Wait time to drop-off equipment was extremely unacceptable (45-minutes), and could easily be avoided if your rental locations were staffed by more than one associate at any given time.

The person helping, Kevin Skeete, was very accommodating even though it was saturday at 8 am and the line was out of control and he was the only one there! That is pretty unacceptable. I was to pick up the truck at 8, did not get it until 9:19, so I lost 1 hr and 20 min put of 6 that I had the truck. Management should know better than to schedule 1 person on a weekend day!!! He helped everyone he could and was very nice and was going as quickly as he can. Bravo to Kevin, but poor judgement on mgmt!

I was at the uhaul location at 9am on the dot to pick up my reserved uhaul truck. The line was out the door and one person working the counter I was in line for an hour and when it was finally my chance to check out the associate informed me that I had to have the truck back before 3, I said I booked for a 6 hour window it's not my fault that you guys failed to get people out the door In a timely manner. Not only did uhaul charge me for a hour that I did not have my truck but they would not let me keep the truck until 4, and moving a 2 bedroom apartment across town we needed all the time possible. I believe that uhaul had a flawed system in place. You should not have to pay for a 6 hour reservation if you only have the truck for 4.5 hours. Also, on a Saturday morning at the end of the month you should have more than ONE person working the counter. Absolutely horr
