Time pick-up has been a problem not only with this location but all locations. I schedule a time to pick -up (7:15 Am and they schedule me for 12:00 pm. I receive an e-mail and the time has changed this happen to me Wed 05/16 and March 2 in Omaha Ne I said 7:00 am and they schedule us for 3:00 pm! I have never had an issue with U-haul (I have rented a total of 15 trailer's and 25ft truck's in the last two years). I do hope going forward this problem will be taken care of!

The U-haul was suspossed to be there at 10:30 AM and was not there until 5:45 PM. They blamed the computer system. Absolutly horrible situation when we needed the truck in the morning.

We made our reservation about a month in advance from needing it and they did not seem to have our information on file. Everything ended up ok, but they just did not seem as prepared as they could have been.

My original contract was to pick up the trailer at 244 randell on elgin, il. When we went there the trailer was not there. The worker at that location was not well trained in until procedure or customer service. Not likely to use until on illinois again. Iowa site was great.

I had a problem when renting online. I asked for a pickup time 5pm the day prior to moving. I went to get the truck and found out that I could only use it for four hours then being the truck back. I was planning to have the truck for at least 24 hours. This upset my plans in moving.

Don't have one person say they'll sell me the better warranty for $28 and then I go to pick it up they charge $85 and "can't change it because the price is locked."

We were ignored from the moment we walked through the door. I do not know if the two men employees thought we were with the men standing at the counter but it was obvious that they thought we were in the wrong place after the men before us left and the employees continued to ignore us. The truck was not swept out. I am furious and will NOT EVER use Uhaul again.

I was supposed to have the UBox & 10' van from 10a-5p. I arrived @ 10:30a. They said a pick up truck was avail, so the van was substituted. The trailer was not available, so a double was substituted. I finally left the rental location @ 11:50a. At the storage facility, I was unable to open the UBox, nor the ramp. Main offc said to wait for someone to call. After waiting, I drove back to rental offc where they removed 2 lg bolts installed by manufacturer & explained ramp. They said they would not charge me for 10 mi. Main offc said that due to being 3 hrs into my contract & I was unable to pack, that I could extend beyond 5p return time. I filled tank & returned to rental offc at 7:20; no one said close of day was 7p. Vehicle & UBox were secured, keys were dropped in night drop. Very frustrating, but people were kind.

Lower the mileage cost on the then foot trucks. The mileage cost and having to return full of gas is too expensive.

The appliance dolly I had paid for was not provided and I had to go back for it. Signs for return say to park in certain area ans stay with vehicle, but no one came as the sign suggested.

The trailer had 'blankets' and a few plastic bags in it and had not been swept out. The trailer separated from the hitch at about 35 mph and it took about 2 hours from the time of the breakdown to get help. The person who came to assist did a great job - his service was fine. The customer service people on the phone were good. I don't believe the trailer was attached to the hitch securely at the rental location. The process of renting the trailer at the rental location was handled well - it was getting it attached to the hitch that was the problem and the time to get back on the road took so long because of how far the serviceman had to drive to get to my location. I was about a mile out of the the town where I rented the trailer - not in a remote location. Fortunately there was no damage to either the trailer or my vehicle and no one was hurt.

VERY upset that I had to drive 25 miles to pick up the UHaul the day I was moving. This was not expected. When I called customer service to tell them I was upset, they told me they would credit me $20 for the inconvenience, however, upon picking up I was only given $15. I will need another moving vehicle in 2 weeks and I am searching elsewhere as I am VERY upset with UHaul!

The truck's mileage was off when I received the the pickup and I ended up being overcharged on the mileage because of it. The location tried fixing the problem but still ended up over charging me $4 (better then the original overcharge of about $30). The employee who rented me the truck knew of the mileage being off but couldn't get the computer to accept it. Maybe a little bit more training for the employees on the computer and communication would help.

You should tell people about the Tow/haul button to keep the truck from using engin breaking when there is no load on. It was a bit dicy driving till I figured it out.
