Customer service was lacking. Seemed like manager was annoyed. There was a lack of communication with whoever called me about the uhaul and the actual pickup location. I reserved a uhaul for a location 70 miles away from where I actually had to pick one up. I was told the closest location was in Canada to pick up a truck. Overall it was a bad experience.

It was clean, ran great, no problems on pickup or return.

Put diesel engines in trucks for better mileage.
Get cruise control in trucks
Get better drivers seats. This started hurting my back 30 minutes from departure.

my truck rental was great and the people were super. the only thing i ask is to check the tires on the truck before hand. i had the drivers side back tires blow on my trip.

We were running a bit late and called ahead. We were told that we could pick up the truck no later than 6:45pm. As we neared the rental site, we called again to make sure that everything was in order. We were then told that we were lied to by the previous employee because the business was open until 7:00pm and we could pick up the truck any time before then.
Other than that, things went very well.

there is no use to reserving a truck when if, at the last minute, you call and tell us there is no truck, and we have to travel more than an hour away to get a smaller truck than we had reserved. this kind of unreliability made our move miserable, and we will definitely think twice before we use uhaul again. on top of this, the movers in belmont never showed, adding insult to injury.

U-Haul personnel were friendly and knowledgeable about their equipment. Answered every question and concern we had. She helped us every step of the way with obtaining the auto transport trailer. We were very satisfied with experience.

Equipment turn-in was good. I used this facility for storage as well. I had even called ahead several days to confirm that the two 10X15's were in-fact available. I got the "two-thumbs up" from them. I arrived, and surprise, they only had one. We agreed on a backup plan of moving into two 10X10's, however they were indoors and difficult for me to move into, I work in the logistics field, and it seems that too many people are getting away with "little white lies" to their customers. If it is not available, then tell me! With enough warning, I can adjust my plans accordingly or find another option. It's not just bad logistics, but bad business.

I reserved a 6x12 enclosed trailer with credit card and was given a reservation number and told it would be available for pickup at 7pm on the day I requested. The store said I could modify or cancel up to one day in advance of the rental. A representative from the store called me several days later and told me I couldn't pick it up later than noon on that day, or the day after, and that there were no other similar units available. I was forced to rent a 14' truck at a much higher cost in order to move on time. I have used this uhaul store in the past with no problems, but will look elsewhere first for future needs.

I had an amazing experience! This is my first time renting a moving truck and as a young girl it was a little intimidating. But online reservation was easy, the truck was ready when I got there....Michael was SUPER helpful and nice with getting everything situated. Truck ran great, great price, drop off was a breeze and Matt was super helpful with that process. All in all, great experience with this U'Haul. I would definitely recommend :)

Yet again with a truck rental I had problems with the mileage, When I returned the truck I was told I had put 86 miles on the truck when I had only put about 4. I made the mistake of not checking the mileage against the rental agreement and neither did the girl. Luckily after a previous experience I had taken time stamped photos of the truck & the odometer before I left and when I returned, I used this to prove to the person working the actual miles though I got the impression from my conversation with him this had been happening and if it hadn't been for the photo's probably will continue to happen (as long as he corrected the mileage)

need jack stands for the trailers. It was very difficult to remove the trailer from my truck. The snow and slush was frozen to the trailer and added more weight. The lady and I could not lift the trailer.

Disgusting truck dirty wire all over by the pedals barely any gas when I got it also the rep was very rude basically gave me the keys and told me to leave didn't show me anything about the truck also didn't request any equipment yet there was a dolly in the back zip tied that I had to break to fit everything in and I was charged for using the dolly bogus plus when I returned it that rep was also very rude grabbed the keys and told me to leave when I asked to do an inspection he said he didn't have the time to do it for me to just trust them well guess what I did trust him and now I'm getting charged for not putting fuel in the truck when I was done bull I'm so upset and will be in contact further poor service will never use uhaul again ever!!!!!

You can standardize your procedures! This trip is not the first one I have made between these two locations and it is amazing the differences between the two stores. In Oneonta, NY, the truck was clean and waiting for me. That was very nice, especially after I reserved the truck and told Joe I would pick it up at a certain time. The truck was ready and my time was not wasted. At the Watertown, NY location, that was not the case. The truck was not waiting for me and there was a bunch of snow on it.
Secondly all three employees were dressed in the U-Haul uniform, but they were all dirty. Their appearance was not one I would want to represent my company.
