This U-Haul was the worst place ever they changes our truck size the day before leaving us no choice for an out of state move had to go back out that night in the pouring rain because they forgot the pads Man was very very rude Man gave us a drop off location where you drop it off yourself so had to call U-Haul and find another location causing us to miss our final walk through on our new home will never use U-Haul again.

They set us up with a truck too dangerous to drive. Also lied and said i didn't make the reservations there and wanted me to go 35 mins to another locstion. I had confirmed reservation 4 days earlier. Gave me a very hard time and never once offered me an apology for their mistake. I had been a customer with regular rentals from this location . They totally did not get it that it was their fault. No alignment, balled tires and no gas in the tank.. ignorant manager! Drove 3 hours with this human deathtrrap.Should have received full refund. But no one offered. Make sure you check milage before and after leaving your rental. They double charged us on our bill. Horrible and tramatic experience! !!

Pickup was suppose to be in Woodstock. Was told to pick up in Delevan, WI and then Crystal Lake. Due to problems it was transfer to Waukegan. From there we were told we can drop off in Harvard which changed on us to Walworth, WI to Woodstock, IL. This is unacceptable!!! If you claim we can pick up and drop off at one location, it better be there.

We did not receive the size truck we had reserved. We ended up throwing away things because we had less space than we had reserved. Very disappointed that I was promised a 26 ft truck and received a 20 ft.

I had booked a truck weeks in advance of my moving date. The website stated that the size was available for the date I was to move in. However, the week before my move-in date i received a call from the site informing me that the truck was no longer available. Because I had less than a week until my move date, other companies' rates were extremely high so I had very few options. The lady offered me a discounted rate for me to use a truck from a different site and return it to that same site. I had no option to but accept. Instead of doing a single 35 mile trip like I had initially planned, I had to do 3 trips to and from Chicago (~4 hours driving -- 1 trip to the city, 1 back to return the truck, and 1 more to the city again to my new place). Not only did I waste a lot of time, but I had to pay for the gas which cut into the discounted rate (this was not explained over the phone). I am upset that I made a company like Uhaul did not keep its reservation. It ended up costing me lots of time and driving.

The truck I had was an old model of the 26 footer so the information on the website did not match the truck. The bottom of the deck was higher than expected and the ramp was very short and steep. The drop off area was small. I was one of the last people to drop off so there was no room to drop the truck off in the designated area so I parked in a different area of the parking lot. Perhaps installing guide signs to show where and how people should pull in the vehicle they are dropping off.

When I drove up to drop it off, the sign said "wait here an a attendant will come by and help you" . I waited about 15 minutes and finally had to go in. They were just chatting away, with out a care in the world. When I told them the situation, then they were very helpful.

I was told I would be receiving a rebate due to my reserved vehicle not being available until 2 hours after the confirmed time. I still have not received the rebate in the mail and would like a representative to contact me.

Over the past 5 years I have rented UHaul trucks more than 7 times and purchased many moving supplies. On August 3, I reserved a 26 foot truck for August 30 and 31; to help move my daughter in Chicago. I spoke with U-Haul on August 28 and 29 to confirm the truck. When I arrived at the UHaul facility, there were not enough trucks for all the reservations and I stood in line for over an hour to be told my reserved 26' truck was not available - despite my reservation being made August 3rd. I had to settle for a 15' truck and make multiple trips, pay an extra $600 for additional loading crews, and then have to pay for the U-Haul truck. I spoke with U-Haul Customer Service and was referred to Heather Skelton. I called Heather Skelton TWICE, left messages both times, and have not received a single return call from her. If this is indicative of your new customer service, I will never use U-Haul again, and will actively inform everyone I know how UNRELIABLE AND POOR the service is. YOUR mistakes cost my daughter and me an additional $600 in this move. What will you do to make this right?

The service was crap and unprofessional, the truck had damage on both drive and passenger side of the truck it also had a crack on the windshield. Worst service I have ever experienced with this company.

The worker started the truck and walk way. He did not do a walk around. My husband did the walk around on his own and noticed a broken mirror. He had the worker come back out and the worker said "that's fine" and walked back in. Nothing was documented, so this was an issue on return when we were being told that we had to pay for damage. I had called 2 days and spoke to someone and was told that someone would be calling me back. On the 3rd day with still no call back, I called again and was connected to a manager at the call center who took care of the issue.
