My comments are not about this location, but the awful woman from u-haul who kept calling me about my reservation the day before. I assume she worked out of a call center, and that u-haul can look up who she was if they care. I literally received 4 different phone calls on Wednesday, October 22nd from this woman! She kept telling me different places I had to drop off and pick up my rental. One location she tried to tell me I had to go to was 15 miles away from my original rental pick-up! 4 phone calls, all changing locations. By the end of the 4th call I was so confused about where I had to go to pick up and drop off! And, during the 4th call, she asked if she could call me back again! I told her "no, this was already the fourth time you called me today!" She laughed during at least one, but I believe it was two, of the phone calls; while identifying herself and saying it was her "again." Like it was funny that she was so incompetent that she had to keep interrupting my day! Also, at one point she tried to tell me the rental price was $10-15 more than when I reserved it. When I told her that was not what my reservation confirmation said and read her the price or my rental and miles, she told me she needed to re-do her math! Isn't there a computer to do all of that for her? And, I believe to try to compensate for the fact that I had to drive much further to pick up and drop off than when I reserved online, she told me that I would get a credit for 10 miles. But when I got to my pick-up location there was no note about this with my reservation. The employees at the pick-up location nicely offered to keep the payment on hold until the next day so they could ask their manager about it, but I was so fed up (again, not with the workers at the location, but the horrible woman who has no business being in customer service on the phone) that I just wanted to be done with it, so I paid in full, no 10 mile credit like she tried to tell me on the phone I would get for all of the hassle. All of this because the Super Lube a mile from my location, that the u-haul website indicated had a rental available, supposedly no longer rents u-hauls. But when I checked the day of my rental they were still listed on the u-haul website as having rentals available! It almost seems like u-haul keeps locations on the website that we cant go to just to get us to reserve. I do have another u-haul rental reserved for tomorrow that I am not changing. So far no problems. But this will be the last time I rent a u-haul as this was really a ridiculous mess to deal with when I had plenty of other stuff to worry about.

The day before I picked up someone called to let me know the person using the car hauler before me was returning later than they planned. No big deal but the warning was very much appreciated. On the day I picked up the same woman called to let me know everything was there and ready to go. This is proactive excellent customer service!

Trailer leaked from the roof from the front to back. I was advised prior to renting that the trailer may leak in the rear but the entire room leaked and made the contents wet (from the front to the back). When I advised the staff checking the trailer back in, they stated that a manager would get back to me the next day but no one called. Other than that, the staff and process they use was great. Very efficient and fast. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

The staff at this location are very knowledgeable, beyond fast, and extremely efficient. Now if these folks could just rub off on (Insert 90% of all other retailers), that would be great! I hate terrible service; thankfully I don't have to worry about that at this store. I've already rented twice from this location. I WILL be back. Thank you. :)

The Uhaul representative that I scheduled my rental with over the phone made a huge error by overbooking and I was stuck without a truck on moving day. Fortunately, the customer service representatives at the West Allis location were able to set me up with a smaller pickup truck despite the error of the representative that I had talked to earlier. Overall, very frustrating and stressful on moving day. I will not use Uhaul again.

The employees at this location were very friendly, helpful and understanding. The truck was very clean and generally in good working condition. Some of the dash board lights did not work, especially the gear shift indicator, and the odometer light was very dim. All other interior lights and all exterior lights worked as they should. The steering was very loose. The truck drove well in the city, but on the highway the loose steering made it a challenge to drive and stay in my lane.

I made a reservation two weeks before I needed the truck and received confirmation via phone call. No email confirmed the reservation, even though promised. I got a call a week later asking me to change my reservation. I refused. When I picked up the truck, I was told yet again that i needed to change my reservation or be charged extra because they double-booked the truck. WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK I MADE A RESERVATION??? I needed the truck for the time agreed up front. Do not make your customers pay for your mistake
