This was not the location we requested for drop off. After conveying repeated times which location we wanted for drop off, and returning the vehicle to the one we stated in our reservation, we were told that we needed to take it to a different drop off location. Nothing went as we requested without extreme effort and conversations with phone reservations.

there was a "very" loud banging sound every time i changed lanes on the highway. It sounded like i hit something every time i changed lanes, so i called the location that i rented the trailer from and asked if i could change my rental from a local to a one-way so i didn't have to deal with the banging sound every time i changed a lane. i was told i could it would cost the one-way rental cost of about $500 from the original cost of $200, i was ok with that. when i went to turn the trailer in at the location i was at i was told it was going to cost me $1285 vs the $500 i was told i called the west palm location and was told there was nothing that they could do by the GM. then to top off that problem on the way home about 800 miles the tail lights didn't work due to the fact that the person from the rental location that hooked up the trailer didn't secure the wires correctly so they were dragging on the road. When the trailer was returned we informed the west palm location what happened and we were told that the GM was an "AxS" I also had a hitch receiver installed at this location and on the way home the wires were hanging down under the car and they needed to be repaired upon our return.

Most unprofessional uhaul facility I have ever visited. The entire staff was beyond rude and very unprofessional. One employee by the name of Edgar stuck out most, he was dropping the "F" bomb every other sentence when speaking to the customer before me. All employees were to busy talking to one another to help any customers. We sat and waited 10-15 mins for the employees to stop gossiping and start helping customers. Edgar really was over the top with his unprofessionalism, when asking about the insurance policy, what it covers and what he recommends he told me I need to read the disclosures because he doesn't have time for "all that". I could go on and on about my experience but I will stop here and let u take it from here.

The service I received today was horrible to the fullest. I was broke down for over an hour the truck wouldn't start. I was very frustrate. Before the trucks are rented out they need to be check to make sure they run properly. It was to hot to be sitting outside.

The man was rude, condescending, and very unhelpful. I was charged for a cover that I never had access to, only one was taken out of the packaging and that one was returned!! He was asked if the truck could be left at the store to allow me to return to locate the cover; to keep from using additional gas and mileage, he refused to let us leave the truck. His attitude was devoid of any customer service skills.

The staff do not seem to care one bit about the customer. The lady who helped me set up my reservation literally sighed and said she had to help me because the other lady said she should. No joke. They also do not seem to be consistent in their knowledge about the policies/procedures; I was told I had to bring the truck back by 6pm that day even though I was renting it at 10am. When you rent a truck by the day, it is supposed to be for 24 hours. When I returned it, I asked the man who received it, and he said it was the location's manager who wanted them to tell people to bring the trucks back so soon because it's a busy location. Completely unfair to the customers. Also, as soon as I got it the very dirty truck, a bracket on the drivers side sun visor fell out of the ceiling and the visor kept falling down in my view the entire time I used the truck. Not a good impression of this location overall.

The overdrive lockout button is located in the dash in the middle of the cab, out of the drivers easy reach and line of site. Wasn't until $200 of fuel had been used in highway driving that the switch was noticed to be in "city" position wasting fuel on the highway and causing unnecessary wear on engine due to much higher rpm's. If an indicator light would appear on the dashboard in front of the driver saying "overdrive disengaged" I would have realized much sooner and re-engaged overdrive. Sad that I wasted money on gas by not knowing about the switch placed far away from drivers vision.

I fell for the full tank ruse again. My mistake. I drove 17 miles and the tank took 4.5 gallons. There is no way that a new Chevy cargo van only gets 4 miles to the gallon.

Stop calling people to find out if they are done or not with the truck. Or stop scheduling people over and over, causing people to rush what needs to be done.

I have rented many times at this location and have always been satisfied. This time the person that waited on me was great, the person that checked me out was not. When I picked up the truck the mileage was not what was printed out on the sheet. the man wrote in the correct mileage 77665, not 77637. The gas was marked at 3/8 of a tank on the sheet, it was just above 1/4 , we did not change on the sheet. When I brought the truck back I had driven 44 miles, I put 5.358 gallons of gas in , which brought it back to just above 1/4 of a tank which was in it. I have the credit card charge for the gas. They charged me 4.4 gallons of gas at $ 5.00 . which I complained about, but he did not want to hear about because he claimed that the truck had 3/8 of a tank. I told him that I will dispute the charge, he did not care . 44 miles divided by 5.35 gallons that I put in comes out to 8.22 miles per gallon, I am not an expert but I belive that your 14' trucks get at least 8.22 miles per gallon. The way he calculated it , 5.35 + 4.4 = 9.75 gallons used , which would be 4.51 miles per gallon, which is not possible. Also note that he did not correct the mileage on the sheet indicating the exact mileage on the truck . In any case I will be disputing the $ 22.00 charge with a/x. My mistake was that I did not take a picture of the gas gauge with my phone. Lesson learned for next time. Joseph Mattei
