The general Manager, I think Dakwan, I am not sure what his name is, but this guy was really kind, humble, and helpful when I was renting my U-Haul truck, unlike most Uhaul places where people LACK a personality, he impressed me, now I definitely would recommend this place, just because of this young man and his customer service! Mention this to him...

Nothing. Guy at the desk - what a special guy and great / friendly service. He helped me with my hitch last weekend and helped me with the utility trailer this weekend. Very much appreciate his help. Good job. Will definitely rent here without hesitation.

I consider the behavior of U-Haul representative Mr. Daquawn Vazquez to be inappropriate and rude because: 1. He mistakenly marked rental due date 3/22/2014 7pm instead of 3/23/2014 7pm. This is clear mistake since marked time leaves for the customer just 3 hours for load/unload and travel 60 miles. 2. He clearly marked some areas of the contact for my attention. Due time has not been marked. 3. I returned the van at 7 pm 3/23/3014 but had been charged for 2 days instead of one. When I asked Representative for explanations he denied that he agreed on 7 pm return, which I specially stressed when rented the equipment. Please note that I have a companion who have heard our conversation. 4. My rate had been voluntary changed from $19.95 plus mileage to almost $80 per day, which I never agreed. This results to cost increase. When I called for explanation Mr. Vazquez rudely denied for any refund.

I had originally reserved a rental for Sunday morning (3/23/14) at 9:00am when they opened. Not only was there nobody there, I and another couple were waiting outside in the cold for over an hour. I ended up having to pay movers extra for the two and a half hours that I was late, as I had to then change all of my plans, pay extra for trucking and gas to rent from the Medford location. This was the third rental in the past few weeks but am so dissatisfied that I will likely never rent from this location or possibly any other again. All I received was a $50 credit. For what it cost me from the problem your company caused me, it was hardly equitable.

My UHaul had a check engine light on, but it ran fine. Otherwise the experience was just as I needed it to be. The truck was available on time and everything was as expected (which is great on moving day)

Leonardo was great - however his hands were tied given our unfortunate situation. We were given unsound advice as to which vehicle we should rent and the prices as well. I gave the uhaul.com rep the precise dimensions of what the items were that we needed to pick up, she said that the cargo van would be fine.We rented the one that was recommended and my wife picked it up, drove 40 miles and was informed by the Costco personnel that the wheel wells were in the way and that we should have been informed of this bu uhaul! This cause my wife 4 hours of time she did not have! and 40 more miles- this time at a higher rate of $0.79/mile!! If the woman informed us to rent the last vehicle this whole debacle would have been avoided.

Hire better help . When employee asked if I brought van back clean and gassed up I said yes he then asked if I brought rented moving blankets back I said yes . He then asked if I folded blankets I said no that I put them beside open bag from ware they came out of . Then he said well go out and fold them like he was talking to one of his kids and he said this in front of another customer . At this point I said no and he said I am going to charge u $25 to fold three blankets that needed to be re folded I'm hoping to be cleaned and to be re packaged . So I walked out got home and he charged me a $25 dollar cleaning fee to fold three blankets that I rented this is a joke . I've rented at this location in the past and never had this problem and always just left blankets in the back of rental and never got talked down to or charged such a bogus fee. I will never rent at this location again .

The truck I was given had alerts on the dash board that the tire pressure of the vehicle was low and needed to be serviced. I used the truck on a day where it was 10 degrees. I was surprised and disappointed that the truck wasn't ready ... i.e. - the windshield and wipers were coated in ice. I think if you know the customer will be picking a truck up to have it prepared to use.

The person who rents the vehicle to the customer should encourage the customer to look inside and outside the vehicle for any problems (dents or cleanliness, for example).

The whole process went extremely well. Daquawn Vazquez who handled my rental was very professional and helped me through the process at a very busy time. He made some excellent suggestions about adding packing blankets, getting gas, and other tips that made the moving experience more positive. It was a pleasure working with Daquawn and I would strongly recommend this U-Haul location to anyone renting a truck. Thank you!

I thought we rented a closed trailer but the reservation indicated a utility trailer which is open. Fortunately they had a closed 5 X 8!
