Staff at local location is great. Unfortunately, the central phone system involving Customer Service in Arizona needs a major make-over. On multiple occasions and for two different local locations, the Arizona people scheduled appointments that can't be kept by locals, make false promises, etc. After getting up extra early on a Saturday morning for a 7am appt scheduled by the folks in AZ, I was very disappointed that the Brockton location didn't even have a technician available to do my install until much later in the day. Very frustrating system unless you can speak directly with the local team the first time around. Not good to make appointments and then have to disappoint customers by having to make changes and reschedules. Instead of over-promising and underdelivering, UHaul needs to change their system so they're underpromising and overdelivering. In the end, though, everything got worked out and we were happy we decided to rent a trailer. We'll be back and hope it will be easier next time now that we know what we're dealing with.

The pickup location was great--friendly staff, clean, etc. The reservation system, though, was atrocious. I was told I had to pick up the equipment I reserved at a location 90 minutes from the pick-up location I specified when making the reservation. The reservation was more of a general guess than an actual reservation.

I often rent uhaul trailers for long term use as I am in a touring band. This time I had rented a 5x8 for 5 weeks and other than having to pay $1000 for the rental, the trailer itself was kind of run down. It had spray paint all over it and the cloth handle used to lift the door was ripped when I picked it up. Wasnt in the best condition, but overall it was fine. What Id really like to see is some type of deal for people like me who rent/give business to uhaul very often. I don't rent for a day or two. I rent for 3/4/5 weeks at a time and Id love to see a better rate for long term use and/or rewards program for people like me who give uhaul thousands of dollars every year. Other than that, it is what it is.

Reservations should not take so long to process if the store already has all your information. Should be just as fast as renting a car, not a 45 minute wait. Also the floor of the trailer I rented was covered in grease which transferred on to some of my furniture. My mattress is now stained with grease with no way to remove.

The staff at the store was very friendly and very helpful. You might want to staff an additional employee there on Sunday mornings, as they seemed over-run and indicated that always is the case on Sunday, but they did all they could to keep the line moving.

Pickup location too far away. 26 miles, asked for additional milage and they couldn't help me. Had to pay for additional mileage due to accident and I-95 being closed. Couldn't help me because they said it was already in the system, poor excuse.

There was a confrontational situation with an irate customer who was being completely unreasonable that escalated to the customer yelling and breaking some uhaul equipment. Andy and John handsled the situation very professionally and diffused the situation getting the customer out of the building and off the property. And then they got back to work servicing he rest of the customers. Very impressed. Good job guys
