Staff was nice - no issues with them. The truck was absolutely horrible. It was so old. It actually needs to be removed from the road. I know now why I rent from Penske - I just wanted to give U-Haul a shot. Never again - if that is the quality of vehicles that are rented out. There was a massive amt. of play in the steering wheel. The truck was all over the road. The engine did not have a steady idle. The "service parking brake" light was on and you had to go between park and drive twice before the audible alarm would turn off. There were other issues but these are the main ones that were most obvious. It was just not a good experience at all. Sorry!

First time I had to use the services provided by U-Haul. It was great, everything was made simple, staff was extremely helpful. Equipment was kept in wonderful shape. I will be using these services again in the future.

I will not be back. This is the second time in 8 years i have used uhaul, abd both experiences were inexcusably bad. I waited 40 minutes to pick up the reservation i made DAYS in advance, over the phone. It is a college moving weekend in a town with two colleges. The uhaul store should have more than one guy on duty. When i brought the truck back two hours later, the clerk was too busy finishing his conversation about gun ownership in PA and pistol policies to help me. When he finally checked me out, he tried to act like he was doing me a favor by not charging me another day because i was 40 minutes late. I reminded him that it took him 40 minutes to wait on the 5 customers in front of me in line when i arrived for my RESERVATION. An apology would have been appropriate, but instead, he told me about how it "never gets like that" and how he had "two people who didn't know what they were doing."

Very convient! We rented a pick up truck for 4 hours to move furniture. The truck was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The check-in and check-out was fast and professional. We will rent again!

Even though I put a reservation in a couple weeks in advance, I was still not guaranteed a tow dolly. A day before, I called and was informed that one would not be available. I asked about a car carrier trailer. One was available and I was given that for the same price as a dolly. I originally wanted this anyways, but was told that my car might not drive onto it due to the lower profile. Simple solution was to bring along a few 2 x 8's to build up the ramps to decrease the angle. Carrier worked great and returned it in less than 12 hours.

When I called in to reserve the truck I received your call center not the Williamsport store. I did not feel that the order was correct so I took the time to drive down to the store during the week to double check the order....the order was incorrectly placed in the computer. I told the call center that I was calling from the Williamsport Area School District and he asked me "What was the name again?" so I told him again. That was my first thought he was not from the area since the store's address is Williamsport. When I went to the store the order was under "William Ford". The store worker corrected all the information even added my email address even though I gave it to the call center. The only item I did not double check was the credit card so I called again on Friday but received another person at a call center...I told her I wanted to talk to the store but she did not forward my call just emailed the store. Well guess what when our parent went to pick up the truck....the District credit card was denied. This needs to be improved!!!!! Our parent had to use his own credit card to pick up the truck.
