I would have appreciated if the equipment was in a more convenient location. Had to drive an hour out of my way to get equipment. I gave plenty of notice and it should have been brought to a more convenient location for me.

As at many vehicle rental agencies, a customer may have to wait while the clerk processes documents for other customers. Otherwise, the staff at this location is courteous and helpful.

The truck ran terrible, only could go 15mph up the hill empty, the gas tank wouldn't register above 5/8 a tank. It was hard to start. Spit and sputtered. Never again.

Make sure they check the lights on any vehicle/towing item. We had a taillight out however it wasn't checked before we left. Gentleman there was nice and very easy to work with.

I believe you need better organization. While in transit to pick up the 14 ft. unit, our home was called to see if we were still picking it up (took it off voice mail after we got home the next day). However, upon arrival, we were told there was no 14 ft. unit available. I talked to the people who came in after us into taking a smaller truck, and they agreed, and we got the 14 ft. unit they had reserved. Don't know what we would have done if they had refused.

That truck was TERRIBLE! Not only was it a dinosaur, but the engine made horrible grinding noises, the clock light was burned out, the steering was loose, and every time I hit a bump the compartment in front of the passenger seat flew open. That truck was a joke. It needs to retire... a long time ago!

Website is aweful. Don't have truck sizes available for rental that have not been in this area for years. Don't let trucks be booked that are not available. Very irritating to book a truck, pay movers and then find out the only trucks available in the area are 10 foot smaller than what you had booked. Customer service regarding this issue was horrible and staff were rude. We have used uhaul many times for moves and have never had a problem, until this time. Not thrilled with my uhaul experience this time.

While I had no problems with this specific location, staff or the truck itself (the staff at the store was actually quite friendly), my overall experience was a terrible one. Let me explain: I had arranged with a friend to move some furniture out to Pittsburgh from Williamsport since I needed to move my belongings from Pittsburgh to Williamsport, this way we could split the cost of the rental and kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak. While the rate was high (should be discounter for higher mileage trips), that was not my problem. The problem was with how the reservation was taken, or rather, with the bad information (misinformation) that was given by the gentleman that helped me make the reservation. I was told that the truck was only available for Friday use, to which I responded that I would need it longer than 24 hours so if that was the case, never mind. He asked how many miles I would be needing it for. I told him and asked what would happen if I couldn't return the truck on time, TO WHICH HE RESPONDED THAT I WOULD ONLY BE CHARGED FOR AN ADDITIONAL DAY, THAT THERE WOULD BE NO PENALTIES AND THAT OTHER ARRANGEMENTS WOULD BE MADE WITH WHOMEVER HAD THE RESERVATION FOR THE TRUCK THE FOLLOWING DAY. I assumed this meant that they would simply find another truck for them so with this said, I went ahead and made the reservation. Fast forward a few days to the day of my move/reservation: I picked up the truck, loaded it with the furniture that was to be moved to Pittsburgh and started the drive there. During the drive, I began to question the information I'd been given (thank God!) and decided to do a google search on it. It was then that I discovered that the info I was given was incredibly wrong to the tune of $500 penalty (I also read something that alluded to $50 per half hour late; either way the info was way off and could have costed me a very large amount on top of an already large bill), however, I had already started the move and could not abandon it as my lease in Pgh was up and I had no choice but to vacate my apartment of all belongings. So I decided to call customer service hoping to resolve the problem, thinking that since it was uhaul that gave me bad info that I surely wouldn't be charged extra. I was told that there was NOTHING that could be done and that the bad info came as a result of uhaul forwarding calls to a call center where those who take the calls are not well versed in company policy. I stated that this is bad business as it leaves zero accountability and can potentially negatively affect the customer to a huge degree. She agreed but again said there was nothing she could do. I explained that this left me with 2 options: pay an additional $500 (at least) or do the entire move, which I had planned to do over the course of 3 days in less than 24 hours instead, putting my girlfriend's and my own life in jeopardy because not only would I have to drive all night without sleeping (8+ hrs round trip) but that I would need to cons
