The uhaul sales representative was negligent and had us leave the store before calling us back from getting ready to go on our move to Florida to tell us that we had to come back and pay because she just noticed the tow dolly for the car didn't pop up on the receipt.This was extra time and energy out of our packing to leave the same evening driving back into Wilmington very unsatisfactory --

Went in on a Sunday and waited in line for more than an hour. Needs more staff. Desk person kept having to leave to go outside and deal with trucks, leaving a line of people in the dark as to why we were waiting there with little progress. The clerk was nice when I did get to the desk though. Seems like improper management/staffing.

Pone thing is not charge two different prices for the same item. I rented a 10' truck during the day and then rented another later that evening. I was charged two different prices and no reason was given when asked. Outside of that error, all else was perfect.

The on-line reservation process was easy. I ended up calling the store to see if we could come early for our truck and they were courteous and accommodating. The pick up went easily. staff was polite, friendly, and helpful, and there were many supplies that we needed available for purchase. The only drawback is that this location is in a "sketchy" neighborhood and also parking is a bit tough.

The wiring to one tail light needed to be repaired during the trip. I need to be reimbursed. I left 4 messages at the pickup location to 1) have a hitch installed, and 2) to make an appointment for checking out the hitch I had installed elsewhere. No one ever returned my calls over the 3 day period I called!

Severely understaffed on a day at the end of the month. Your staff indicated that it was a sold out day, but only one person was working the counter, one yard man cleaning trucks and one other girl that appeared to be "looking busy" but not contributing to the business or customer service.

My experience at the Uhaul location on governor printz blvd. in Wilm, DE was absolutely horrible. There was only (1) person working the cashier and the worker had No sense of urgency to move the line along. I've rented here several times in the past and each experience has been the same.

I did not order blankets and dolley, but they were in the truck and got in the way. I couldn't get the blankets off the wall and therefore they obstructed my packing. The dolley I had to remove in order to pack things in it's location. I was afraid I would be charged for using these and it was inconvenient to have them there wasting space.

I work for three days and three different locations to rent this trailer. I was sent to the wrong locations twice. I thought I was smart to call this location Ahead of time however The trailer was moved 10 minutes before I got there. This is the worst service I've ever seen. I will not be back.

Customer service sucked! They made the WRONG reservation and refused to change it. Gave me a damaged truck, and when I returned it, charged me for the damages already done! You guys are a bunch of fucking idiots! I will NEVER rent from y'all again; and I will be making sure this experience gets shared with other customers! Poor way to run a business guys! Worst customer service ever!

My plans ended up changing and when i asked if i could bring it back early(an hour after i picked it up) and only pay for 1 day, they said they would call me back. They never did. I will be rethinking renting from Uhaul. I payed for 2 days rental, and put 10 miles on it.

It wasn't clear where to leave the truck for after hours drop off because the facility was fenced in and locked up. Perhaps a sign saying where to leave the truck would be helpful.

This location was not the location I asked for, nor was it the location that was CONFIRMED to me 2 days before I was to pick up a cargo van to move my son home from college. I got an email confirming the RESERVED and GUARANTEED pick up for 10 am on Sun 5/31, which was the last day of his lease. When we went to the Newark Del site to pick up the van, we were told there was no reservation in the system, and to call the 800 number. The CSR on the phone (NOT HELPFUL!) told us our reservation had been changed to 4:30 that day because the person with the van wanted it another day. The only vehicle available in the area was a truck in Wilmington. Had they called or emailed the night before, as they said they would, we could have gone directly to Wilmington (which was closer to our hotel) instead of wasting time getting from one UHAUL place to the other and then back to apartment. The staff at the Wilmington site were fine -- it is the scheduling that is an issue. If the reservation is GUARANTEED, then you expect that the van will be there when they say, and not just move it without even calling you. If people bringing the van back late is an issue, then have a penalty for late delivery. Offering an "extra day" at $40 is hardly a disincentive for being late. Or, because you know that people do that, have extra vehicles available. We should have rented round trip to ensure we had it, although who's to say if it would have been available at home when we wanted to leave??? Horrible business model. If you rely on yoru customers to return the vehicles on time for the next person, then make it more expensive to be late.

I had an issue with my car transport being loaded incorrectly last time I used this location and it caused damage to my vehicle. It was handled so quickly and professionally that I was happy to come back and continue giving them my business. I spoke to the manager on this visit and thanked them for handling things so well. Sometimes it's how a bad experience is made right that really shows how a business handles it's customers and you all did a wonderfull job. Thank you!
