On the phone they said I was going to pick up somewhere in Boston. I flew into Logan Airport so I wasn't expecting to have to pay for a $100 dollar taxi fee to get to the store. For that, I don't blame the store but U-Haul overall and I will have a hard time recommending U-Haul overall to anyone.

Only one person at the counter, the program used to make the processing quicker was not working with the counter computer. I took the time to enter all my personal information on the web to help make the checkout faster....took just as long because i was asked the same information once i got to the counter...are you folks not taling to each other?

Very good experience overall. One thing: the truck has headlights DANGEROUSLY dark. One thing that I found was the right-side headlight was pointing to a totally off direction. The other also seems to be very dark. But, still, I was very satisfied.

I left almost 3/4 tank of gas which is worth 50 bucks for Uhaul. And I got charged additional $24 for the miles. Dropped the vehicle way ahead of schedule. Have some value for your customer yes you made an additional profit of $24 people wont mind paying when they already spend 100's. It is really unfortunate. Its just sad. But next time people wont come over to you. I booked for a 17 feet truck and finally got a 14 feet had to make additional trip for this.

The trailer was in good condition. However the jack for the trailer was not attached and I had to try and pick it up off my trailer hitch by myself. This caused the trailer to roll towards my truck. I would not recommend renting a trailer without a jack it's dangerous.

Be more flexible.Only needed truck for 6 hrs and things changed. Called cust svc and they WOULD NOT work w me to allow more time w rental.Recomend always telling rental to be for 24hrs to avoid ice cream headache !

I rented the truck for one day and was billed two days. I had a reservation for a storage room large enough to fit significant peices of furnature and the company gave me a crypt big enough to hold only a few boxes. Not enough for the two couches, beds and other furnature I told them I was going to store. I had to drive an extra 50 miles roundtrip to find a place open and willing to let me move my stuff in. I returned the truck later that evening and now being charged for two days. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! AND WRONG!!!!

My bill was incorrect and it took 3 days to fix it. 3 phone calls and a trip in person. I was charged for 2 days when I had the truck for 5 hours. People were friendly but playing with customers money isn't good practice. Not sure about recommending

Agent (Petrio?) was very helpful. He fixed the ball on my receiver because it was too low. My only complaint is that the taillights on the trailer weren't working. The turn signals and brake lights were ok, but the tail lights weren't, so I had to hurry back before dark. Petrio saw the problem, and I think he would have fixed them, but I was in a hurry, so I don't blame him. Tom F.

Lady who was present when I picked trailer up was very rude and condescending! She needs a job where she doesn't interact with people. The guy who was there when I returned it was very nice !

I was extremely disappointed in my overall experience. I initially wanted to pick up a truck in Billerica. I reserved my truck online for a Sunday pick up at 8:00 am. I arrived on Sunday promptly at 8:00 and the representative was had not arrived yet. After waiting for him he informed us that the "systems were down" and he was unable to process any reservations. We left our number with him so that we could be alerted to get an available truck. We did not receive a call back. We needed to cancel our Sunday plans to accommodate a phone call that never arrived. I then placed another reservation for Monday for the same pick up time. When arrived at the Billerica, Ma location again the "systems were down" again. I am not sure why I was able to place the reservation if they were not getting it. So after two days of frustration I was sent to Wilmington. Upon receiving my truck I noticed that the check engine light was on, how is that up to standards. I needed to drive an extra 8 miles each way to get a truck at a farther location increasing both my mileage charge and my gas total. In addition the suggested amount of gas needed to place the tank at the appropriate amount for return surpassed the amount I was given with the truck.

I ordered a 20 foot truck online 2 weeks prior to the pick up date and when I got there on time in the morning there was no 20 foot truck. So, I was told that I would recieve a 26 footer in its place. I was then told to have the truck before dark because there were no functioning lights. I wish that was the end but the truck should have never been on the road! The brakes did not function, the dashboard fell into the steering wheel, it stalled three times, and the fumes were horrible. I have never complained about anything in my life but I was not even offered a discount.

I was subjected to rude and unprofessional treatment. Forced to agree to the condition of the truck without being allowed to inspect it for myself. The employee tried to force me to give an alternate phone number after being repeatedly told I didn't have one to give. The gas on the form was incorrect...the mileage was incorrect...and both had to be corrected...yet after being assured it was fixed...I discovered that only the gas had been changed. Overall, this experience was beyond terrible. Poor doesn't even begin to describe what I think of this place.
