Completely understaffed and disorganized. On both recent visits (2 weeks apart) each clerk i dealt with complained loudly and bitterly about how much he hated his job. How overworked he was. "Do I LOOK like I am having a good day?" he snarled at me last Saturday. Uggh! Get a different job! Epic line inside, trucks parked in the driveway so that I couldn't even enter through the main entrance to return my trailer. the first time, two weeks ago, the only person there went wandering around the lot for 45 minutes looking for...?

Upon my return trip a wheel bearing overheated. I called Roadside assistance and was told that I would have to wait until a service person arrived to evaluate the trailer. I told the operator that I would wait 1/2 hour. Fortunately service arrived within the time. It is not my responsibility to waste my time because of a maintenance issue on a Uhaul trailer.

When I got to the location only one person was working. 5 people were in line in front of me and every time he completed the transaction he had to go outside to help the customer. The trucks were over booked so some people were mad because they did not get one. I was getting a trailer that was supposed to be in the Littleton location but did not make it. I did not get a call to let me know. I had to drive 25 miles to pick up the trailer in Wilmington. It put me 3 hours behind.

Felt bad for the one employee working. Needed help and Arizona call tct screwed him by giving customers wrong info, making his job much harder and delaying everyone waiting.

I'm really disappointed with the overall billing. It's been a pain. At first I make a reservation for pick-up at Boston and Drop-off at Wilmington. I pay for the whole trip including insurance at Boston (during pick-up). I return the truck next day at Wilmington as planned but I get $65 charged, which is absurd. I agree to pay for the extra mileage, which is barely ~$11. However why should I pay for insurance which I have already pay for and the "wrong destination charge"? I have gone through this several times with U-Haul Customer service, in fact someone from U-Haul called me and apologized for accidentally charging extra. They promised to refund me an it been well over a month now and I see no refunds on my credit card. I hope this comment doesn't go unheard and some takes ownership to fix it.

Tell customers how big the gas tank is. I had no clue what 1/4 tank used equaled in gallons. The service at this location is great, I forgot locker keys in a truck and this man I think his name was pietro found them!

The lady who works there was very friendly and helpful and the place had all the boxes we needed for our move. I deal with Uhaul often due to our frequent moves, and this was one of the best and easiest experiences I have had.

Got charged a cleaning fee on my CC. The vehicle was spotless upon it's return, and no one from this rental location will return my calls(7) to get info as to why this fee was added. Think it's scam!!

We had online confirmation for a 17' truck. But when we got to the location, we were told we had a 20' truck on our reservation. Given that we hadn't driven a big truck before, we were reluctant to accept it and wanted the 17' one that we had booked. But they couldn't accommodate that. When there is a confirmation for a specific size, if uhaul does automatic upgrades it would be good to notify the person who booked it. I'm sure there are others like us, who didn't like the automatic upgrade to bigger truck. However, the rep at the location did try his best to see if he can swap ours with someone else - hence I would recommend the location.

The uhaul was clean and the staff was friendly. The truck was completely unsafe to drive and as there were no other options we were stuck with it. The brakes and rotors must be in need of major repair. When trying to brake, the whole truck would pulsate and shake considerably, and it was very difficult to stop. We told the person working there and he did not seem surprised or concerned. This should be dealt with as soon as possible.

We waited almost 45 minutes before we could be helped. The woman working in the front couldn't help us. She was completely useless. Also I had ordered 4 dozen furniture pads but only 2 dozen were available. The man who finally rang us up and got the truck was good and knew what he was doing.

The pickup in the morning was MUCH more of a wait than I thought my pre-registration would address... I would think you would need at least 1 other person on a Saturday morning to handle the flow of traffic - I imagine that's tough because you likely don't need 3 for the whole day but it really held me up in the morning to spend that much time in the office waiting for someone to hand me the keys/finalize my agreement (especially since I had done the online registration, my expectations were that I'd be in the office minimally).

Staff working in the Wilmington store on the morning of 7/5/14 were very nice, professional and courteous. It was a great experience and they do a great job getting customers in and out.
