Picking up the U-Haul was a good experience. However when I dropped it off I had thought I was supposed to lock the key in the truck (after hours). However I must have misheard as I was supposed to leave them in the drop box. I had to pay for Dr. Hook to come down to unlock the truck which was unfortunate. I also find it hard to believe that there is only one key for the truck. What if an employee accidentally locks a key in the truck? Does U-Haul have to call Dr. Hook every time? It was just an unfortunate experience.

Your staff was every helpful But I got the truck back around 606 pm And was going to load my storage container And the lady told the close the doors at 655 pm so to hurry I felt a little rushed Over all I would recommend my friends

check your vehicles before sending them out. Mine had a broken drivers wiper and a rear tire that had a large bald spot and bulge in it . These are basic safety issues that should be checked before each rental.

I found the staff to be not especially friendly. They get the job done, but seem to be all about business and don't have a welcoming attitude. I feel like I'm inconveniencing them by asking for a truck. Also, I was told that I got a freshly cleaned truck. Although the cab and cargo area were clean, the windshield was covered with bugs. I washed it myself.

Uhaul advertizes ''safemove plus'' availability at all is locations. This service is only available in the US, yet there are placards advertizing it all over Canada. Without safemove plus''s 1 million dollar 3rd person liability, we were stuck with only having 200,000 3rd person liablity, an extremely deficient amount, and so had to get an extra insurance policy. Budget and every other mover I called offers million dollar liability as their base plan. This is a grave flaw in Uhaul's insurance policy. Please let me know how you will address it.

Offer a 12 hour rental time period. The truck was returned to your location in approximately 6 hours, yet I am charged 24 hours. My first thought was to keep it the full 24 hours, then return it. Only out of consideration for other people who may require this truck did I return the truck immediately after completing my move. It is probably re-rented to someone else by now. I will check out alternate companies next time I require a rental truck. Also when I tried to reserve the vehicle on line from this location, there were none available. I was going to rent from another company, but when i called the U-Haul call center in Arizona and they had no problem booking me a truck from that location. Why is there a discrepancy in the two systems?

You guys fucked up my reservation even though I called to confirm it. It's crazy you can do this every time I try to rent a truck. Thankfully the staff was good about taking care of me. Won't be using uhaul again if I can avoid it. I'm pretty sure at this point, fucking up reservations is part of your business model in order to attempt to up charge people.

There was a brand new liner put in a cargo van and the smell of the plastic almost made me puke. Maybe air out the liners before putting them in. I was lucky that I was able to put the windows down but if it was raining I wouldnt have been able to. Some people are chemically sensitive so that should be taken into consideration. Other than that everything went fine. Thanks.

After going over all details with customer service lady at the location I regards to ensuring it was brought back to that same location. A few hours later I received a call from a male customer service associate asking me if I was bringing it back to that location. I explained that I had discussed all the rental details with the lady this morning and that part was agreed upon early. He didn't explain why he was calling other then to confirm that which was on my file. I dropped off the trailer Sunday night at 8pm as per the agreement. Then today I get a call asking where the trailer is. I said I left it sitting on the lot last night. He doubled checked and it was there. Overall experience wasn't bad, but I would suggest putting steps in place so that your employees check paperwork and double check trailer numbers before calling clients twice in regards to the rental. Not only will it increase the customer experience but it will decrease time wasted by your staff making calls for answers that are right in front of them.
