The mileage on the vehicle was 10,208 when I started the van. I did not notice that the agent had written 10,204 on the contract. (This is my fault, I should have gone back to the office and asked for a correction. I drove exactly 10 miles yet I was charged $12.00 for fuel when I was informed that the cost for fuel would be $4.00 per gallon.

first of all the details of the rental were unclear. Online when I reserved it was one thing and then I dropped off the truck and you are double charging me if this location did no allow the overnight drop off then you should have told me that upfront before I reserved it. The attendant who gave me truck kept threatening other customers in the location about not crossing a yellow line and he made a threat out of every rule he told me about. also next issue gas was not at the level that was on the contract before leaving I showed the attendant who acted like he was shocked that I brought it to his attention, he changed the gas level on my contract, but then the next day I was charged for gas, the person who answered phone said that the attendant only changed it on my contract and not in the computer and therefore I had to come in and show where he changed it on my contract, I have better things to do than come in to Uhaul on a sunday. Therefore I have my proof. I tried to talk to the man that answered the phone but he was totally not any help and said that I would have to come in on 2-2-15 to speak to manager. If the local manager does not contact me buy 10:00 am tomorrow I plan on reversing my credit card, contacting the BBB, as well as posting negative online reviews

It was very icy day on return, the entrance to the customer office was very slippy made more dangerous by the fact this faciilty has a steep hill at the customer and facility entrance.

I rented a van on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 2:42 pm and returned the vehicle (after hours) on the same day before 10:00 pm. This U-Haul location was closed for Christmas day on Thursday, December 25, 2014. When I received my invoice on Friday December 26, 2014, I was surprised and very disappointed to see that this location attempted to overcharge me $11.00 for collision/damage insurance coverage and $19.95 for the rental of the van. Both of these charges were for an ADDITIONAL rental day. I reiterate that the van was returned on the same day! On Friday, December 26, 2014 at 8:16 am I contacted this U-Haul location and spoke with someone who I believe to be the Manager to address the issue of the overcharge. I explained everything to her in great detail and she told me that she would look into the matter and get back to me. After not hearing from anyone, at 11:48 am I again called this location and spoke with Karin, again explaining the situation in great detail. At 11:56 am I received a call back from Bryam and yet again, unbelievably, I had to explain the situation in great detail for a THIRD time! In frustration and exasperation, I told Bryam that I would not be paying the additional amounts that this U-Haul location tried to overcharge me. Bryam said that he would get back to me and within 10 minutes he did get back to me to inform me that an adjustment had been made for these overcharges. I find it unbelievably irresponsible to the client that U-Haul tried to overcharge me for an additional day of insurance and for the rental of the van. Had I not carefully reviewed my final invoice, this U-Haul location would have overcharged me $33+ dollars. In fairness, all of the other services related to this rental were satisfactory. The van was well maintained and clean. This actual U-Haul location seems to be well kept and organized. My only, and very real, complaint is with the runaround I received and the blatant attempt to overcharge me. While I would recommend this location to a friend or family member, I would do it with a word of caution to CAREFULLY review their final invoice.

I was an hour returning the truck because of a traffic accident. Subsequently I was charged for not only the truck but also an extra days insurance and BLANKETS. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in uhaul. It's obvious they are just looking to take people's money regardless of the circumstances. I may never use them again after this

The employee hooked up the trailer but didnt slam the coupler on the ball all the way so it came off when i shook the trailer to test it when he told me i was good to go. After driving off the lot, the trailer was making a ton of noise so i pulled over and the axle was not attached to the leaf spring. Rediculous! Someone is going to get hurt or die if the employees cant even hook up a trailer properly
