The facility is extremely under-staffed at both pick-up and drop-off times. I can count on spending a good hour there just to drop off a trailer. Otherwise, they are fine - polite, friendly, etc...

The location was extremely busy (mid-August); there weren't enough staff to take care of everything promptly. It took a while (20 min) to get noticed and set up in my hvan (meanwhile, the staff were extremely busy moving vehicles, checking in vehicles, assisting others). Hiring extra help during busy periods might mitigate this.

very busy location with long wait to meet with representative. Location is crowded with vehicles this time of year. Is it time to expand?? Equipment was easy to use and towed well on highway and mountain roads. Grateful for the ease of use - my first time with this type experience.

First, after being told to pull my car up to have a trailer hooked up, I had to wait a good twenty minutes for the trailer, while the staff was goofing around. Second, when it was finally time to hook up the trailer, I had to wait again while staff had to get a different set of wires to connect to my hookup. They obviously do not test or maintain electrical equipment. Then, they have me a different trailer then the one indicated on my contract, saying they would change it in the system. Fine. When I went to return the trailer when I reached my destination, the staff member had trouble removing the trailer from the hitch and cut himself. Equipment should never be so rusted that WD 40 needs to be used and a staff member injures himself. When it came time to check my trailer in, there was no record. They used the trailer numbers ( one being the trailer I was supposed to get, the other being the trailer I ended up with, with the number hand written on the contract), and nothing came up. Same thing with the contract number. After the manager at the drop off location made some phone calls, it was determined that my trailer number was never updated. Also, records indicated that the trailer I picked up was processed as returned on the same day I picked it up, at the same time I picked it up. The fort collins location clearly does not take care of equipment, and does not keep their system and records organized. After this nightmare, I would not use this location again nor would I recommend it.

There was no specific uhaul drop off location given to me at the dispatch of my uhaul. I was also not informed that I needed to call a specific number to get a location for drop off. After arriving in Denver, I was charged an additional $61 because I unintentionally dropped it off at the wrong location. I was very unhappy with my service. In addition, I waited an hour in line to pick up my uhaul even though I was given a reservation time of 7am because there was not enough staff members there to adequately take care of everyone.

I received excellent service. This is a very busy location and they did a great job. The employees greeted me on arrival and was asked by two others if I needed help. Even though this was a busy Saturday afternoon, I was able to drop off the trailor and leave within ten minutes. Great job.

I was charged an extra day - even though I brought the trailer back at 0900 on the second day with dolley in place. I've attemped to contact the office to discover why I was charged an extra day and have yet to hear back from them. Absolutely disgusted and feel robbed of $55. I will never use Uhaul again, and I most certainly will tell everyone I know - including a friend moving next week - to avoid your company at all costs, as you steal from your customers. I also intend to file a grievance with the Better Business Bureau.

I was told that the charge would be prorated if I brought the equipment back early but I was charged the full amount after bringing it back the afternoon before it was due. I told the person who checked the equipment out to me I would have it back the afternoon before it was due and she told me the charge would be less. It's not a huge amount of money but it's frustrating.

It was peak season, I know, but it was ridiculous how long it took.There should have been 3 terminals with someone on one at all times. Instead it was 3 terminals and most of the time no one was at them because after the agent is done with the computer portion they go out and get the person set up with the equipment/vehicle they are renting. Either have someone waiting to take the customer to their equipment/vehicle, or if you want one agent/customer, have the next agent ready to hop on the terminal while the other agents are out of the office finishing with their customer.

U-Haul needs to make some serious changes. My roomates and I were reliant on a truck to move. Although I booked a month ahead and even called to confirm 3 days prior to pick up that I would be able to keep the truck for two days and they assured me all I had to do was tell my pick up location, when I went into the store, they told me I could have it for 24 hours and 24 hours only. In addition, the customer service was insanely poor and the girl basically told me that she could not help me. I had to turn into a mean customer in order to make sure I could move. Apparently dispatch works on commission and will overbook trucks. Does this company not understand that they are messing with people's ability to move and the stakes that come with that. One thing is for certain that none of my roommates or I will ever be using U-Haul again and we are spreading the word (we all work one on one with customers). I would never ever recommend this company.
