Great service and fast
Noel OI’ve rented Uhauls several times a year and this was the first time that I’ve had a negative experience. I know the trucks aren’t supposed to be squeaky clean but this was my first time my Uhaul truck wasn’t cleaned at all. There were cigarette ashes and crumbs in the console. The mats of the floor were all muddy. This was very unacceptable.
Olohima OThe attendant was very friendly and helpful, but the location was difficult to find. Signage on the road or somewhere in the industrial complex would help. Also, the left rear tail light on the trailer was not working, which resulted in me being stopped by a police officer and given a warning.
weldon gWe waited over an hour at this location trying to help the Uhaul facility center check us in and get us ready to receive the keys and drive away. I was patient with this, because I understood that this location was new to the Uhaul system.Of course, this facility would be expected to have a learning curve. However, it was inconvenient. Unfortunately, our luck did not improve. The vehicle we rented broke down once we had fully loaded it. We were stuck in a parking lot on a day that had highs above 100 degrees. When we contacted Uhaul, they called after 2 1/2 hours of us waiting in the heat to say that they were unable to find a mechanic to fix the vehicle. After all the waiting for a mechanic, they said they would try to find a wrecker, but that it might take a multiple hours. Instead of waiting, we had someone who was mechanical in our company that we paid to go get parts and fix the vehicle himself. When calling the service center to let them know that we would fix it, they seemed frustrated with us! We didn't expect a medal, but we were letting Uhaul know that finding a wrecker was unnecessary as a courtesy. It was an overall, bad experience. We will choose differently in the future.
