Christopher GThe pick up was delayed so the employee could clean the van. They did not clean the van. The keys were still in the drop box from the previous user. Three hours after I returned the vehicle uhaul called saying I’d not returned the vehicle. Think this is incompetence? How about getting an erroneous $75 fuel surcharge because “the other person couldn’t read the fuel gauge.” To err is human, to default to hosing the customer is uhaul.

Alan RDirections to find exactly where to go and park are difficult to find, it is a 24 hr towing service but the office that handled rentals has business hour’s different from 24 hours. There are also 2 entrances one with a locked gate.

Glen MWhy didn't you ask about the Share Pick-up at 304 E Ben White Blvd., Austin, Texas 78704. I was to take a trailer to Philadelphia, PA 19145. At 304 E Ben White Blvd they had a worker that was so very rude. It is a very large facility. When I pulled into the facility to pick up the trailer, I parked in a space near some trailers. A lady came out of the building and said, "You can't park there." I told her, "I'm sorry, I'm here to pick up a trailer." She said, "Oh, come on in." When I went in, she apologized and said she thought I was returning the truck. This place was very unorganized. The lady told another young girl to help me with the "load share". The young girl stated she wasn't sure what to do. The older lady told her to call a young man, so he could help me. The young man looked up my info and said he needed more information. All three of these employees were kind and friendly. I told the young man that I had some info on my phone, but I left it in the truck, that I would retrieve it. I went out to get the info from the truck and a man ran out of the back of the building yelling, "You can't park there, you can't park there!" I politely told him that I was doing business inside." He never asked what business, or can I help you, he yelled, "You can't park there, move that damn truck!" That made me so angry that I told him he could do the "ride share" himself. I moved the truck to the front door, went inside and told the young girl, which was the only one there at the time, that the S.O.B. could do the "ride share" himself and I left. I called and told them after I drove about 25 or so miles that I wanted to make a complaint. I told some lady what happened, and she got permission to refund me $50.00. They didn't take in the fact that I spent an extra night at a Hotel in Austin so I could pick up the truck on time. Because of traffic, it took me one hour to drive from the hotel and back to pick up the "ride share". I had told U-Haul that I would be there between 9 and 9:30am to pick up the trailer. I got there about 9:10. The people at U-Haul didn't get the message until 9:27. If they had gotten the message as to when I would pick up the trailer, all this would have been avoided. I spent $125 for a hotel room so I could pick up the trailer early in Austin and not be late. I left San Antonio the day before. I spent an hour on the road to U-Haul and back to the hotel for the trailer, had to put up with an irate employee that should have been fired on the spot, and was offered $50 for my troubles. I have used U-Haul many times through the years, it will be the last if I don't get refunded more than $50. Let the irate employee pay for the delivery of the "ride share"!

James DMaybe treat customers like people you want to come back, not like they are an inconvenience in your day. Second - show the customer where their truck is if they ask. Don't point to a huge lot of trucks and say - "see it's over there."
John WI had an issue with the estimated cost calculation on the website. Jenn was very helpful on the phone to resolve the issue. Fix cost calculator. The website double counted the extra mileage charge in the calculation. Not confident I gotbthe best pricing as advertised.

Reyes PYou can rent trucks to people at the location they reserved it at! Bennington service was great but it was also 40 miles away from home when there were other places much closer to us that had trucks . We reserved a truck in williamstown and were moved to Bennington.. not great customer service in my eyes and I have rented a lot of trucks and trailers from Uhaul..never again!

jill bWhen I spoke to someone representing Uhaul she assured me that the truck I was renting had enough power to go up a steep hill Sarah Clarke definitely lied because it didn't even go halfway, I literally had no other choice but to just leave furniture at the lower part of the hill. Employees of U Haul company learn what there taught. Refund Me .
