My experience was not good. The location is a dilapidated house that should be condemned. I was afraid to walk up to the porch as it looked like the porch might fall in at any time.
I reserved the vehicle for 1 day and was told the day before what the cost would be. When I went the next day to pick up the vehicle, my cost for the vehicle had doubled and the dispatcher did not know how to correct it. Finally, the dispatcher called the home office (somebody) to help her.
When I went to take the vehicle, the drivers side door would not open. The drivers seat is equipped to accommodate someone who is 5 feet tall. I am 5ft 7in tall. The steering wheel was about 4 inches from my chest.
When I returned the vehicle, I was told by the dispatcher that she did not know how to print out a receipt with the charges for using the vehicle. She expected to me to just leave without a receipt. She would take care of it and send the receipt in an email. I refused and she had to call the home office (somebody) again to talk her through getting the paperwork completed.
I would recommend this location ONLY because it may be available when other UHAUL locations do not have vehicles to rent. I would, of course, tell them about my experience.
seemed very unorganized. didn't charge me until later that night and was unable to tell me how much it was all going to add up.
NOT recommended. I dropped off U-Haul and when I returned my keys, the girl working there wasn't talkative and appeared very sleepy or hungover. Turned out she didn't check my truck back in and I got a call from U-Haul 5 days later saying the truck was never checked back in. Again, not recommended.
The office was pretty shabby and smelled like smoke. Location was very convenient though.
