You can start by sharing a password to open the gate at the location, also you can aware the customer about the extra money you are going to request once they are dropping off the truck and give an explanation about what are you charging for.

Rita SWe were rented a truck that leaked but didn't mind due to the fact that we were just using it to haul a couple mattresses to the dump. It was filled with water and debris when we received it but we did not mind. However, we were charged an additional $25 cleaning fee and told that there was "food" all in the vehicle that they had to hire a cleaning company to get out. There was never food in the vehicle at any point. This was simply not true in any way shape or form. Thankfully we noticed the giant gouge down the side of the truck before we left so they didn't try to falsely charge us for that too.

Doug MRented a 20 ft. truck for 3 hours. Charged for 6 hours. Honesty???? Returned the truck with a few carpet threads left unswept. Was charged $25.00 to clean truck. This was a 1Minute job. Poor pricing. In the end was charged $91.00 for a 3 hour and 8 mile rental. U-Haul was never this expensive in the past.
Larry SPark uhaul in easier to access spot. Speed up approval for 24/7 pickup. Truck was left with just above 1/4 tank gas.

RHONDA DMy experience was probably one of the most outrageous bizarre unacceptable experiences I've ever had with a company that's nationally known and respected. I'm dumbfounded by how many uHaul employees were completely clueless on how to rectify what I thought was a very minor issue.
Warren WThe truck was in terrible shape. The brakes were messed up as well as the starter. Worst thing was the lack of shocks; the tiniest bump in the road that in my car is barely noticeable was bouncing the whole truck. Seriously needs work!!
JOHN CYour app for returning rental trucks sucks. It took me about 20 minutes to go through the procedure (both times), when I recently rented trucks from U-Haul. The app crashed multiple times during the return process, when I tried to upload pictures of the truck. I had to re-login many, many times. I had to alternate between using the app, and going to the U-Haul site, to finally complete the return process. I won't rent a truck from you again, as it seems like this convoluted return process is designed to make people abandon the online return process, and just pay the "convenience fee". The truck was fine. Your employee at the rental location was professional and efficient.

CHRISTOPHER JCustomer service was fine. Amount paid for a one day rental was way too much. Equipment was dusty, no ramp, crank windows, no side boards, which made getting in and out of the truck very difficult. I will not rent from here again.

kyle bI was assured a call would tellme the day before that a truck was available. I was not called and I could not call to find out why.(after 6PM Sun)this caused me great concern wondering if my move was not going to happen. I checked the tire pressure on the truck and it was 100 psi. This was well above the recommended pressure. The truck had a very hard ride --your slogan on the truck was A GENTLE RIDE.

Stasha PI had a problem with the truck with the windshield leaking which was no fault of this location. The truck looked tidy inside but I wasn’t sure how well things were sanitized with the whole coronavirus situation going on. The cupholders looked dirty so I did take Lysol wipes and wipe everything down and they were quite dirty when I was finished. Other than this it was a good experience and the owner of this location was very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Andrew AMy experience at this location was pass exceptional. The power was out when I arrived but the employee on site help me through the process of checking in online. He was very pleasant and answered every question that I had to satisfactory. I wasn’t aware of this location beforehand but if ever I need another U-Haul for this area, this is where I’ll come to without question.

Alex LThe only complaint I would have was that I was not asked about insurance. Normally I waive the coverage. Although the gentleman who runs the establishment was very friendly, helpful and professional I feel as though this coverage should have been discussed providing me with option to opt out. Overall all went well and I have no complaints.
GARY DWhen we rented the truck, we were told that the gas tank qas full, but when we got in it, it was not. Yet, we were charged for not having the tank full when it was returned. Rather than confronting the office, we just paid the fee. However, I don't believe we will be using this particular location again.
