Race, the owner of the facility, was easy to deal with and very personable. Would recommend him to anyone. Probably don't do a great deal of business at this location, but it would've been nice to have someone at the business when we arrived.

curtis pOn line check in was a pain in the butt!!! Dark around the rental area. Would not advise for a women to do it alone. Key box lock is old and rusted which was hard to unlock.

JOSHUA JWe drove an hour to Alvord on11/26 to rent the only trailer available in the Metroplex. The Uhaul guy hooked up the trailer, checked the lights and then sent us on our way. We were driving back to Dallas and, once on I35 while driving 70 mph in the middle lane, the trailer comes OFF OF THE HITCH and starts swinging across THREE lanes of traffic. It was only connected by the two chains attached to our bumper. Cars around us quickly backed off and my husband was able to safely exit the interstate and drive off of the y. This could have been a catastrophic event, to be honest - there was tons of Thanksgiving traffic on the road. It took almost three hours to get Uhaul to come out and check the trailer and they didn’t bring a new electric hook up (ours snapped during the trailer disconnection and we had asked THREE times for a new electric connection to be delivered). We then had to drive to a different Uhaul location (without lights) to get another electric connector. This could have been avoided by appropriate maintenance and proper installation. We now have damage to the lower back panel below the ‘bumper. I know that damage to the car body is not as big of an issue as a crash, so we feel blessed to be okay, but this NEVER should have happened in the first place.
