I made a mistake and wasn’t able to use the trailer. I notified U-Haul and returned the trailer as soon as I realized my riding mower would not fit onto the trailer. The man that helped me with the U-Haul contract and trailer rental didn’t want to refund the rental cost. He pressured me into not requesting a refund and tried to make me feel bad for making a mistake. He told an untruth ( said another U-Haul representative said my mower would not fit onto the 6x12’ trailer). His opinion(s) seemed to be in conflict with the U-Haul representative’s I spoke with on the U-Haul Customer Service telephone line.
Jeff AI already cleaned the trailer. Why he changed me a clean fee?

Natalie FMake sure the gas gauge works properly. As I was filling the tank to get it back to where it started I was monitoring it very carefully to not pay anymore than necessary. I got it back to the correct mark, and then once I started driving it jumped up an extra 1/4 tank which amounted to paying about $40 more than I should have. I hope this isn't by design to trick customers into overpaying.
Phil HEarlier notification that the requested pickup location was going to be changed would be good. I picked the location since I could ride my bike to pickup the UHaul renter. The change in pickup location, caused me to scrabble for a ride. Not a big problem, just unexpected. I became aware of the change, when the new pickup location called. A text would have good - like I got when the drop-off location was changed.
